Abstract

Da glazba utječe na mozak, već je davno poznato. No određeni žanrovi imaju različite utjecaje s obzirom na ritam, tonove i frekvenciju dok obavljamo određene aktivnosti. Neki djeluju smirujuće i opuštaju te time poboljšavaju koncentraciju. Drugi žanrovi pak podižu energiju i ljude čine sretnijima. Također se i kvaliteta pojedinih žanrova i njihovih pjesama promijenila. Glazbena industrija je jako zahtjevna i traži od izvođača uvijek nešto novo. Pod takvim pritiskom, izvođaču su prisiljeni izdavati pjesme koje su ili poprilično slične postojećima i monotone ili nekvalitetne u strukturi tonova i teksta. Znanstvenici tvrde kako je moderna glazba puno gora s obzirom na glazbu prije 50ak godina. No svi žanrovi imaju svoje loše ali i dobre karakteristike. Bitno je znati kada i u kojim situacijama slušati koji žanr kako bi izvukli ono najbolje iz njega.

Abstract (english)

That music affects the brain, has long been known. But certain genres have different impacts regarding rhythm, tones and frequency while performing certain activities. Some act calming and relaxing and thus improve concentration. Other genres boost energy and make people happier. The quality of individual genres and their songs has also changed. The music industry is very demanding and challanges the artists to always do something new. Under such pressure, the artists are forced to publish songs that are quite similar to existing and monotonous or low-quality in the tone and text structure. Scientists claim that modern music is much worse than music from 50 years ago. But all genres have their bad and good features. It's important to know when and in what situations to listen to what genre to get the best out of it.
