Abstract Stvaranje digitalne slikovnice za djecu jedan je od novih načina rada u području ranog i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja. Ovaj inovativan i kreativan način rada s djecom dugotrajan je proces koji sadrži elemente umjetničke ekspresije i grafičkog uređenja. Sam proces izrade digitalne slikovnice nije nužno težak i kompliciran, ali zahtijeva vrijeme; vrijeme za istraživanje, pripremu, predviđene poticaje, motivaciju i održavanje dječje zainteresiranosti i uključenosti. Iako digitalna slikovnica još nije rasprostranjena u odgojno-obrazovnim ustanovama ona je zanimljiv novitet u radu s djecom predškolske dobi. Upravo zato, cilj ovog rada bio je istražiti digitalnu dječju književnost, ponajviše digitalnu slikovnicu, sagledati kako se ona može samostalno izraditi te okušati se u njezinoj izradi uz pomoć djece i odgojitelja koji nije educiran u tome području. Prvi dio rada posvećen je slikovnici; što čini kvalitetnu slikovnicu te postoji li poveznica između slikovnice i digitalnih medija. U nastavku se govori o digitalnoj dječjoj književnosti, digitalnoj slikovnici te njezinim karakteristikama. Glavnina rada temelji se na samom istraživanju digitalne slikovnice čiji su osnovni elementi slika, tekst, zvuk, animacija i interaktivnost te praktični rad koji se proveo s djecom u dječjem vrtiću. Uz to, kako bi se pomoglo odgojiteljima i roditeljima da na kvalitetan način djeci približe digitalnu slikovnicu, prikazani su postupci njezine izrade te analiza gotovog djela. Na kraju, prikazan je rezultat rada, odnosno digitalna slikovnica koja pokazuje da se s djecom doista – uz malo volje, želje, poznavanja osnovne tehnologije i pravilnog odgojno-obrazovnog rada – digitalni mediji mogu kvalitetno upotrijebiti, čak i u predškolskoj ustanovi.
Abstract (english) Creating a digital picture book for children is one of the new ways of working in the field of early preschool education. This innovative and creative way of working on picture book with children is a long-lasting process that contains elements of artistic expression and graphic design. The process of creating a digital picture book is not necessarily difficult and complicated, but it requires time. Not only time to explore, but also time to prepare, to anticipate incentives, to motivate and to maintain children's interest and involvement. Although the digital picture book is not already widespread in educational institutions, it is an interesting novelty in working with preschool children. Because of that, the purpose of this paper was to explore digital children's literature, with an emphasis on digital picture book and to see how it can be created independently. Also, the aim was to try and create concerned book with the help of children and educators who are not well informed in that area. The first part of this paper is dedicated to the picture book itself, the analysis of its quality features and whether there is any correspondence between the picture book and the digital media. The following part is about digital children's literature, digital picture books and its characteristics. Most of the work is based on the research of a digital picture book, analyzing the basic elements like pictures, text, sound, animation and interactivity, as well as practical work, which I conducted with the children in kindergarten. Furthermore, in order to bring picture book closer to children with the help of educators and parents in a quality way, procedures of making and analyzing the book were presented. Finally, the result of the work is a digital picture book. This book shows us how with a little bit of willingness, desire, knowledge of basic technology and proper educational work, digital media can be used well, even in a pre-school institutions.
