Abstract

Još od starih vremena glazba je prisutna u ljudskoj povijesti kao neverbalna komunikacija. Vjerovalo se da glazba ima veliku moć nad čovjekom, da ona može liječiti ili učiniti čovjeka boljom osobom. Novijim znanstvenim istraživanjima pokazalo se da glazba nije tako moćna kao što se nekada vjerovalo. Glazba je sveprisutna u našim životima i može kod čovjeka izazvati određene fiziološke promjene te može pomoći kod socijanih, emocionalnih, i intelektualnih problema. Sve se više ljudi odlučije za alternativne metode liječenja, pa tako dolazimo i do glazboterapije koja se može provoditi s odraslima i djecom. U okviru glazboterapije dijete može reproducirati, stvarati, improvizirati ili slušati glazbu. Te aktivnosti provode se skupino ili individualno. Djeci s poteškoćama u razvoju želi se pomoći glazboterapijom tako da im glazba posluži za opuštanje, poboljšanje motoričke koordinacije, motivira ih za izvođenje fizičkih vježbi, potiče njihovo samopouzdanje i samopoštovanje, poboljšava govorne sposobnosti, pozitivno djeluje na komunikaciju te potiće svu djecu na suradnju. Glazboterapija se sastoji od različitih pristupa i metoda koje je najbolje kombinirati kako bi se postigle pozitivne promjene kod djece s kojom se radi. Poželjno je uključiti svu djecu, a ne samo onu s poteškoćama u razvoju jer se kao krajnji cilj postavlja što potpunija integracija djece s poteškoćama u razvoju u redovni rad – program. Taj se cilj može lakše ostvariti kroz glazboterapiju uključujući u nju djecu sa i bez poteškoća u razvoju kao pomoć pri socijalnoj inegraciji i razumijevanju svih koji sudjeluju u odgojno obrazovnom procesu. Sudjelovanjem će sva djeca nesvjesno poboljšavati cjelokupno vlastito zdravlje i pridonostiti odgojno – obrazovnoj integraciji.

Abstract (english)

Since the old times, music is considered to be a part of human history as nonverbal communication. It was commonly believed that music has a great power over man, that it can heal or make one a better person. New studies have shown that music is not that powerful as it was before. However, music is omnipresent in our lifes and it can effect on certain physical changes and it can help with social, emotional and intelectual problems. More and more people are supporting alternative methods in certain treatments and this is how we came to music therapy which can be carried out both among adults and children. In this therapy a child can reproduce, make, improvise or just listen to music. Those activities are carried out both individualy and in groups. Using music therapy with children with difficulties in development could help them in a way that music relaxes them, improves their motorical coordination, it motivates them in doing physical exercises, encourages their self-respect and self-confidence, improves their speaking skills and encourages children for making social contacts with other children. Music therapy is consisted from different approaches and methods which have the best effect if they are combined together. It is important to include every child and not just the ones with difficulties in development because the main goal is complete integration of children with difficulties in development into regular work- program. That goal could be reached easier by using music therapy which includes every child, as a help for social integration and understanding everyone who are a part of educational process. Being a part of the therapy, each child improves their health unconsciously and makes a positive difference in educational integration.
