Abstract

U ovome radu istražuju se igre uloga u predškolskom odgoju. Pritom, nije riječ o standardnim igrama uloga u koje se djeca prirodno upuštaju, već o igrama koje su originalno osmišljene za odrasle i koje bivaju prilagođene djeci. S obzirom da su igre uloga uglavnom priče koje djeca i odrasli doživljavaju kroz svoje likove, u radu se naglašava važnost igranja, pripovijedanja i stvaranja priča. Isto tako, u radu se ističe da i djeca mogu sama stvarati priče, a igre uloga mogu obogatiti to iskustvo. Češći oblici igara uloga bit će ukratko opisani i objašnjeni kako bi se utvrdilo koji su oblici najprihvatljiviji djeci. Riječ je o stolnim igrama uloga, računalnim igrama uloga (CRPG) i LARP-u, odnosno igrama uloga u stvarnom vremenu i prostoru. Nakon toga, opisuju se potencijalne koristi i mane takvih igara te se promišlja o tome mogu li se ove igre primijeniti kao kvalitetan alat za unaprjeđenje odgojno-obrazovnog sustava. U radu se predstavljaju dvije postojeće igre namijenjene djeci mlađe dobi, na način da se jasno može vidjeti što sve već postoji u svijetu igara uživljavanja uloga i kako odrasli koji nemaju iskustva s time ipak mogu sebe i svoju djecu uključiti u novu vrstu zabave.

Abstract (english)

This paper talks about role playing games in preschool education. The games in question are not standard roleplaying games that children naturally engage in, but roleplaying games created originally for adults, but adapted to suit children. As roleplaying games are mostly stories that adults and children experience through their characters, the importance of stories and fairy tales will be explored in addition to the importance of play. In addition, we will see in what ways children can create their own stories, and how that can also be enhanced through roleplaying games. The most common types of roleplaying games will be covered and explained to explore which one is the most appropriate for preschool children. Those are table-top games, digital roleplaying games and LARP, which is an abbreviation for live action roleplaying. After that, the potential benefits and flaws of these games will be discussed, and we will see if they can be used as quality tools to improve the education system. Two specific games will also be presented so it will be clear what already exists as an option in the world of role playing games and how that can help adults with no roleplaying experience to engage themselves and their children in new kinds of fun.
