Abstract

Republika Hrvatska, iako geografski veoma mala država, posjeduje bogatu riznicu kulturnog blaga. Svaki kraj Hrvatske ima različite običaje, pjesme i plesove. Dječje tradicijsko stvaralaštvo ima sve elemente predajne kulture jer se prenosi „s koljena na koljeno“ te na taj način zauzima veliku ulogu u očuvanju kulturne baštine. Folklor kao izvanškolska aktivnost potiče djecu na razvijanje radnih navika i odličan je oblik socijalizacije. Osim samih folklornih pjesama i plesova, djeca se plešući folklor susreću s dječjim tradicijskim igračkama i instrumentima napravljenim od materijala iz prirode, različitim običajima, dječjim igrama te odjećom i obućom iz prošlosti. Voditelji dječjih sekcija imaju ulogu učitelja koji prenose folklorno znanje i potiču želju za samo razvijanjem u svijetu folklora. Glavni preduvjet za uspješan rad s djecom je znanje o primjerenom i autentičnom izboru materijala te poznavanje metodike rada s djecom. Dječja folklorna literatura veoma je oskudna, stoga voditelji raznim seminarima i školama folklora mogu dobiti znanje potrebno u radu s dječjim sekcijama. Istraživanje provedeno elektronskim putem metodom anketiranja u razdoblju od studenog 2016. do veljače 2017. godine, pokazalo je da se brojčano stanje djece unutar folklornih udruga smanjuje kroz godine. Ukupno je sudjelovala 61 folklorna udruga unutar Republike Hrvatske. Udruge u prosjeku imaju jednu ili dvije dječje sekcije s oko 40-ak članova. Kvalitetna dječja sekcija odraz je adekvatne izobrazbe voditelja. Većina voditelja ima neku vrstu izobrazbe vezane uz primjenu dječjeg folklora, odabira primjerenih dječjih folklornih materijala te poznavanje zakonitosti scene.

Abstract (english)

Republic of Croatia, despite geographically being a small country, is extremely rich when it comes to the cultural treasure. Each area of Croatia has different traditions, songs and dances. Children’s creative work plays a great role in handing down traditional customs from one generation to the next and preserving the national cultural inheritance. Folklore as an after-school activity encourages children to develop work ethics and is also great for socialization. Apart from songs and dances, children get acquainted with the traditional instruments and toys made of natural sources along with different customs, traditional plays, clothes and footwear from the past. Dancing coaches of the children’s sections are meant to be teachers who hand over their knowledge and encourage desire for improving in the world of folklore. The main preconditions for successful working with children are adequate and authentic selection of the materials and knowledge of the appropriate methods for dealing with children. The lack of reference books makes it difficult for the coaches who therefore take part in various courses in order to acquire the required knowledge for working with children. The research conducted electronically through the survey method in the period from November 2016 to February 2017 has shown that the number of children in the folklore associations has been decreasing through the years. 61 folklore organizations from Croatia took part in the research. On average, the organizations have one or two children groups with about 40 members. Well-prepared children’s section is the reflection of a well-prepared coach. Most of the coaches have some kind of education in the field of children’s folklore in terms of proper selection of the folkloristic samples for children and familiarity with the standards of the scene and being on stage.
