Abstract

Slikovnica je prva knjiga s kojom se dijete susreće u životu. Upoznaje ju vrlo rano te ona služi kao izvrsna podloga za razvijanje receptivnih i produktivnih vještina. No, kao vrsta književnosti slikovnica je vrlo specifično djelo te se ovim radom to nastoji i dokazati.
Stoga će se u drugom poglavlju detaljnije obrazložiti pojam slikovnice kao i njezine karakteristike. Pritom vrijedi i pobliže upoznati kako se ta književna vrsta može podijeliti te koje funkcije prenosi na čitatelja. Osim toga, slikovnica je kroz povijest prolazila kroz različite faze razvoja, pa će se obratiti i pogled na slikovnicu nekad i danas. U trećem poglavlju detaljno će se opisati njezina glavna karakteristika, slikovni i jezični diskurs te kakav bi odnos slike i teksta trebao biti u slikovnici. Zatim će se prikazati i aspekti čitanja slikovnice. U četvrtom poglavlju stavlja se naglasak na prepoznavanje kvalitetne slikovnice te njezino sudjelovanje u cjelokupnom razvitku djeteta kao i u nastavnome procesu. Drugi dio rada bavi se slikovnicama Darka Macana, suvremenog književnika i ilustratora, koji se u slikovnicama ostvario u oba diskursa, ali ni u jednoj u ta dva izričaja istovremeno. U petom poglavlju iznijet će se životopis i bibliografija Darka Macana, a u šestom poglavlju će se analizirati pet njegovih slikovnica, ovisno o tome je li u njima zaslužan za jezični ili slikovni diskurs. U zaključku će se obrazložiti rezultati do kojih se došlo prilikom analiza slikovnica, odnosno zašto su slikovnice Darka Macana vrijedne i kvalitetne, koje sve društvene vrijednosti prenose na djecu te kako utječu na njihov cjelokupni razvoj.

Abstract (english)

The picturebook is the first book which child gets in touch with. The child meets picturebook very early in life and it serves as an excellent foundation for the development of receptive and productive skills. However, as a type of literature, the picturebook is very specific as it will be shown in this thesis. Therefore, in the second chapter, the concept of picturebook and its characteristics will be explained in more detail. In doing so, there must be a clear distinction of how this type of literature can be divided and what functions it transfers to the reader. In addition, the picturebook goes through the various phases of development through history so the views of it in the past and present will also be shown. In the third chapter, picturesbook main feature will be described in detail as well as pictorial and language discourse, and how the picture and text relationship should be in the picturebook. Then the aspects of reading the picturebook will also be displayed. The fourth chapter focuses on the recognition of picturebooks quality and its participation in the overall development of the child as well as in the teaching process. The second part of the thesis deals with picturebooks made by Darko Macan, a contemporary writer and illustrator who is in the picturebooks in both discourses, but not in one of these two expressions simultaneously. In the fifth chapter, the biography and bibliography of Darko Macan will be presented, and in the sixth chapter five of his picturebooks will be analyzed, depending on whether he is credited with a linguistic or pictorial discourse. In conclusion, the results of the picturebook analysis will be explained, the question why are picturebooks of Darko Macan valuable, how they transfer social values into children and how they affect overall child development.
