Abstract

Predškolsko doba je važno razdoblje u životu u kojem se formiraju brojne osobine ličnosti i razvijaju određena znanja i sposobnosti djece. One imaju utjecaj na cjelokupni djetetov razvoj, a snažno utječu i na kasniji rast i razvoj. Posebice važnu ulogu u djetetovu rastu i razvoju imaju motoričke sposobnosti koje se razvijaju od najranije dobi. Motoričke sposobnosti djeteta odgovorne su za svladavanje motoričkih zadataka koji su neophodni u svakodnevnom funkcioniranju. One omogućuju djetetu obavljanje jednostavnih i složenih zadataka kao što su primjerice hodanje i trčanje. Kao takve, motoričke sposobnosti mogu se mjeriti i opisati, a ovisno o pojedincu one mogu biti na različitom stupnju usvojenosti. Razvoj i promjene motoričkih sposobnosti moguće je pratiti od najranije dobi djeteta. Prilikom praćenja i mjerenja motoričkih sposobnosti potrebno je uvažavati individualne posebnosti pojedinca. S obzirom na važnost motoričkih sposobnosti, cilj ovoga rada bio je pobliže opisati motoričke sposobnosti i objasniti kako se one razvijaju kod djece predškolske dobi. Naglasak se stavlja na spol djece kao važnog unutarnjeg čimbenika u razvoju pojedinih motoričkih sposobnosti. U radu se daje prikaz autorovog istraživanja u kojem su procijenjene motoričke sposobnosti djece predškolske dobi s obzirom na spol. Temeljem istraživanja utvrđeno je da se djevojčice i dječaci predškolske dobi razlikuju s obzirom na rezultate testova motoričkih sposobnosti. U istraživanju se koristila baterija 4 testa za procjenu koordinacije, brzine i snage. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako dječaci imaju bolje rezultate u procjeni koordinacije, brzine i snage, a djevojčice imaju bolje rezultate u procjeni ravnoteže. Provedenim se istraživanjem zaključilo da je spolni dimorfizam moguće uočiti kod djece u dobi od 6 godina.

Abstract (english)

Preschool age is an important period of life in which many personality traits are formed and certain knowledge and abilities of children are developed. They have an impact on the overall child development and have a strong influence on later growth and development. Particularly important roles in childhood growth and development have motor skills that are developing since the earliest age. The child's motor skills are responsible for mastering the motor tasks that are essential for every day functioning. They allow the child to perform simple and complex tasks such as walking and running. Such motor abilities can be measured, described and depending on the individual, they may be at different degrees of adoption. Development and changes in motor skills can be monitored from the earliest age of the child. During monitoring and measuring motor skills, individual characteristics have to be taken into account. Given the importance of motor skills, the aim oft his paper was to describe motor skills more closely and how they developing of preschool children. Emphasis is placed on the gender of children as an important in ternal factor in the development of individual motor skills. This paper presents an author's research in which the estimated motor skills of preschool children in terms of gender. Based on there search, it was found that girls and boys of preschool age differ with respect to the results of the motor skills tests. In the research was used a battery of 4 tests to evaluate coordination, speed and strength. Research results show that boys have better results in assessing coordination, speed and strength and girls have better results in balancing estimates. The research conducted concluded that gender dimorphism can be observed in children aged 6 years.
