Abstract

Svako je dijete pojedinac za sebe, ali svakom je djetetu potrebna pažnja i toplina bliskih osoba. Rast i razvoj djece odvija se kontinuirano, no zbog određenih razvojnih obilježja postoji nekoliko razvojnih doba i faza ubrzanog, odnosno usporenog rasta. Na rast i razvoj utječu mnogi endogeni i egzogeni čimbenici. Djetetov razvoj prati se kroz skladan fizički, kognitivni, emocionalni i socijalni stupanj razvoja. Tijekom rasta i razvoja predškolske djece mijenja se i razvoj gibanja. Kako bi razvoj bio optimalan potrebno je zadovoljiti djetetove potrebe. Kretanje i igra djetetove su osnovne potrebe koje ga uvode i pripremaju za život. Igra je slobodna aktivnost koja djeci pruža ugodu. Dijete kroz igru promatra svijet oko sebe, stječe socijalne vještine, motorički se razvija i istražuje. Postoji nekoliko podjela igara, ali najvažnije je da je igra primjerena dječjoj dobi. Kretanje, odnosno pokret djetetu je izvor zabave i zadovoljstva. Svaka tjelesna aktivnost sastoji se od bazičnih motoričkih sposobnosti koje su pod utjecajem različitih faktora koji se mogu mijenjati u pozitivnom i negativnom smislu. Motoričke sposobnosti djeci su potrebne za većinu aktivnosti u životu, omogućuju mu samostalnost i manju zavisnost o drugima. Igra je najbolji način za razvoj svih antropoloških obilježja, pa tako i motoričkih sposobnosti. Djeca kroz igru uče, iako toga nisu svjesni, zato nikad nije prerano započeti s igrom u cilju razvoja navedenih karakteristika. Neki od ciljeva tjelesnog odgoja u predškolskoj dobi su: usavršavanje svih prirodnih oblika kretanja, zadovoljenje djetetove potrebe za igrom te utjecanje na povećanje otpornosti organizma prema nepovoljnim vanjskim utjecajima. Stoga je važno da dijete tijekom svog boravka u vrtiću pohađa satove tjelesnog odgoja.

Abstract (english)

Every child is an individual for themselves, but every child needs the care and warmth of their loved ones. The growth and development of children happens continuously, but because of certain developmental characteristics there are several developmental age groups and the stage of accelerated or slow growth. Growth and development are affected by many endogenous and exogenous factors. The child’s development is monitored through harmonious physical, cognitive, emotional and social stage of development. During the growth and development of preschool children, motion development also changes. For the optimal development, the child’s needs must be satisfied. Motion and play are the basic needs that prepare children for life. Play is a free activity that gives children pleasure. Through play, children observe the world around them, acquire social skills, develop motor skills and explore. There are different classifications of play, but the most important is that the play should be appropriate to the child’s age. Movement or motion is the source of fun and pleasure for the child. Every physical activity consists of basic motor skills that are affected by various factors which can be positively and negatively altered. Children require motor skills for most of the activities in their life, they facilitate independence and lesser dependence on others. Play is the best way to develop all anthropological characteristics, including motor skills. Children learn through play, although they are unaware of this, so it is never too early to start with play in order to develop the aforementioned characteristics. Some of the goals of Physical Education in preschool age are: perfecting all natural forms of movement, satisfying the child’s play needs and increasing the body’s resistance to adverse/harmful external influences. Therefore it is important for the child to attend Physical Education classes in kindergarten.
