Abstract

Cilj ovog završnog rada bio je objasniti strah i anksioznost kod djece predškolske dobi, njihovu kategorizaciju i pristupe u prevenciji. Strah je prisutan kod gotovo svakog djeteta u određenom razvojnom razdoblju, a u predškolsko doba pojavljuju se brojni razvojni strahovi poput straha od mraka, straha od odvajanja, straha od životinja, socijalizacijskih strahova i brojnih drugih prikazanih u ovom radu. U slučaju straha, objekt straha je realan i prepoznat. Za razliku od straha, anksioznost je utemeljena u neodređenom objektu opasnosti i predstavlja unutarnji strah kojega je teže prepoznati. Najčešći oblici anksioznosti kod djece predškolske dobi su socijalna anksioznost i napadaji panike. Terapijski pristupi uključuju: roditelje s glavnom ulogom u prevenciji dječjih strahova - pritom treba imati na umu da previše zaštitnički roditelji onemogućuju djeci da samostalno prerastu razvojne strahove; igru s raznim terapijskim tehnikama; medikamente u kombinaciji s nekom drugom tehnikom kod najtežih oblika poremećaja.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this work was to explain the fear and anxiety in children of preschool age, their classification and treatment approaches. Fear is a present emotion in almost every child in a certain period of development, and in pre-school age there is numerous developmental fears like fear of the dark, fear of separation, fear of animals, fear of socialization and many others presented in this paper. In case of fear, the object of fear is real and recognized. Unlike fear, anxiety is grounded in an unspecified object and represents inner fear which is harder to recognize. The most common forms of anxiety in children of preschool age have social anxiety and panic attacks. Therapeutic approaches include: parents with the main role in the prevention of children's fears – it should be remembered that overprotective parents prevent children to grow independently their developmental fears; play with a variety of therapeutic techniques; prescription drugs in combination with another techniques in the most severe forms of the disorder.
