Abstract

Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati povezanost perfekcionizma i ispitne anksioznosti kod studenata. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 170 studenata prvih, drugih, trećih, četvrtih, petih i šestih godina različitih studija. Korišteni su sljedeći mjerni instrumenti: Skala perfekcionizma (Almost Perfect Scale,APS-R; Slaney et al. 2001) i skala ispitne anksioznosti (Patric Henry Community College, PHCC: Nist i Diehl, 1990). Rezultati su pokazali da je neadaptivni perfekcionizam jedini značajan prediktor ispitne anksioznosti studenata. Neadaptivni perfekcionisti imaju značajno veću ispitnu anksioznost. Također, mlađi studenti prve, druge i treće godine imaju statistički značajno veći neadaptivni perfekcionizam i manju urednost od studenata koji pripadaju skupini starijih studenata četvrte, pete i šeste godine studija, dok u adaptivnom perfekcionizmu i ispitnoj anksioznosti nije bilo razlike.

Abstract (english)

The goal of this research was to question the connection between perfectionism and test anxiety in students. 170 students of first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth year of different study groups participated in this research. The following measuring instruments were used: the Almost Perfect Scale (Almost Perfect Scale, APS-R; Slaney et al. 2001) and the Test Anxiety Scale (Patric Henry Community College, PHCC: Nist i Diehl, 1990). Results show that the only predictor of test anxiety in students is the maladaptive perfectionism. Maladaptive perfectionists show far greater test anxiety. Statistically, this maladaptive perfectionism manifests mostly in students of the first, second and third year. Those students also show less organisation and neatness than the students of the fourth, fifth and sixth year. There was no difference shown in students with adaptive perfectionism regarding test anxiety.
