Abstract

Cilj rada pobliže je prikazati i istražiti problematiku vezanu uz pretilost djece u osnovnim školama. Brojne se opasnosti javljaju uz pojavu pretilosti kod djece, stoga se velika pažnja treba obratiti pri prevenciji i liječenju navedenog problema. Ovim radom želi se prikazati trenutno stanje vezano uz pretilost učenika četvrtih razreda u Osnovnoj školi Vladimir Nazor u Križevcima, odnosno postoji li pretilost kod učenica i učenika, te postoji li razlika u prevlasti pretilost s obzirom na spol. Osim toga, rad prikazuje opasnosti koju donosi pretilost, objašnjavaju se načini prevencije pretilosti te posljedice pretilosti u kasnijoj dobi. Mnogi su čimbenici koji utječu na unos hrane kod djece školske dobi, poput obiteljskog okruženja, majčinog utjecaja i utjecanja medija, a kako bi se zaustavila pretilost kod djece postoje zdravstveni i javni programi za zaustavljanje pretilost kod djece u primarnom obrazovanju.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper is to present and search about the issues related to childhood obesity in primary schools. Numerous dangers occur with the occurrence of obesity in children, so attention should be directed to the prevention and treatment of this problem. This paper aims to present the current situation regarding the obesity of fourth grade students at the Elementary School Vladimir Nazor in Križevci, apropos whether there is obesity in students, and whether there is a difference in the prevalence of obesity with respect to gender. In addition, the paper presents the dangers of obesity, explains ways to prevent obesity and the consequences of obesity at a later age. There are many factors that affect food intake in school-age children, such as family environment, maternal influence, and media influence, and to stop childhood obesity there are health and public programs to stop childhood obesity in primary education.
