Abstract

Tjelesne aktivnosti predškolske djece sastavni su dio rasta i razvoja u kojem dolazi do izražaja držanje tijela, kretanje i stvaranje odnosa s okolinom. U prvom dijelu radu, na samom početku, definiran je pojam tjelesna i zdravstvena kultura te su objašnjeni cilj, uloga i zadaće tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture za razvoj predškolske djece. Navedeni su i pojašnjeni organizacijski oblici osnovnog programa te sama struktura sata tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture u radu s predškolskom djecom.
Kretanje i tjelesna aktivnost važne su za održavanje stabilnog stanja dječjeg organizma i razine zdravlja. Osim dobrobiti za organizam, tjelesna aktivnost pridonosi i socijalizaciji, osjećaju zadovoljstva, samopouzdanja, zapravo ukupnoj kakvoći življenja. Zbog pozitivnog utjecaja na samopouzdanje, vrlo je važno u redovni program uključiti i djecu s teškoćama u razvoju. U drugom dijelu rada, navedene su i objašnjene teškoće djece u razvoju te utjecaj tjelesnih aktivnosti na razvoj i integraciju. Važnu ulogu u provođenju tjelesne aktivnosti imaju odgajatelji koji djeci pružaju sigurnost, podršku, motivaciju i prva su crta u integraciji djece s teškoćama u zajednicu. Glavni zadatak u radu s djecom s teškoćama je pravilan pristup kako se djeca ne bi osjećala izolirano, manje vrijedno i odbačeno.
Stvaranje zdravih navika važno je početi usađivati od najranije dobi. Tjelesna aktivnost, uz svakodnevno kretanje, treba postati svakodnevna potreba, kod djece sa teškoćama i bez!

Abstract (english)

For preschool children, physical activities are an integral part of growth and development. Posture, movement, and interaction with the environment come into play during physical activity. In the first part of the thesis, at the very beginning, the term “physical and health education” is defined and the aim, role, and purpose of the physical education in the development of preschool children are explained. Organisation of the core curriculum is clarified, as well as the structure of a physical education class at preschool level.
Movement and physical activity are crucial for maintaining the stability and health of children’s bodies. Apart from benefitting the body, physical activity contributes to socialization, the feeling of satisfaction, confidence, and the overall quality of life. Since there are positive effects of physical activity on children’s confidence, it is essential to include children with developmental disabilities in regular classes. In the second part of the thesis, developmental disabilities are listed and explained. The impact of physical activity on development and social integration is also discussed. Teachers have an important role in implementing physical activity. They provide children with safety, support and motivation and they are on the front line of integration of children with disabilities into the community. Having the right approach is crucial when working with children with disabilities, so that the children do not feel isolated, inferior, or rejected.
It is important to start building healthy habits at an early age. Physical activity, along with everyday movement, should become a daily need, both for children with disabilities and for those without them!
