Abstract

Strahovi su dio normalnoga tijeka razvoja djeteta. Većina djece ima razne brige i strahove. Strah se javlja od najranije djetetove dobi, a njegov razvoj ovisi o razvojnome stupnju djeteta kao individue. Svakodnevno, odrastanjem, djeca stječu razna iskustva i sudjeluju u različitim događajima koji u njima uzrokuju nesigurnost, očaj i strah. Strahovi imaju svoju dobru stranu jer su oni naš obrambeni mehanizam. U današnjemu se svijetu javlja mnogo neutemeljenih strahova. Međutim, osjećaj straha se ne može samo isključiti niti se od njega možemo lako odvojiti. Različiti strahovi javljaju se s manjim ili većim intenzitetom. Strahovi su važna etapa pojedinoga životnoga razdoblja. Razvojni strahovi vežu se uz određene razvojne faze. Strahovi su u funkciji odrastanja i osamostaljivanja djeteta. Od iznimne je važnosti razgovarati s djecom o strahovima s razumijevanjem. Potrebno im je pomoći izraziti strah i potaknuti ih na suočavanje sa strahom.

Abstract (english)

Fears are part of the normal course of child development. Most children have various worries and fears. Fear appears from a child's earliest age, and its development depends on the child's level of development as an individual. Every day, growing up, children gain various experiences and participate in various events that cause insecurity, despair and fear in them. Fears have their good side because they are our defense mechanism. In today's world, there are many unfounded fears. However, the feeling of fear cannot be simply turned off, nor can we easily separate from it. Different fears occur with lesser or greater intensity. Fears are an important stage of individual life work. Developmental fears are associated with certain developmental stages. Fears are a function of the child's growth and independence. It is extremely important to talk to children about their fears with understanding. It is necessary to help them express their fear and encourage them to face their fear.
