Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se istraživanjem kreativnosti u nastavi matematike, s posebnim naglaskom na ulogu kreativnog učitelja. U prvom dijelu rada definiran je pojam kreativnosti, vrste kreativnosti, a posebno se spominje matematička kreativnost te navodi njezina definicija i karakteristike.
Drugi dio rada posvećen je kreativnom učitelju matematike. Razmatraju se karakteristike koje učitelja čine kreativnim, zatim kako se kreativnost manifestira u poučavanju matematike te se navodi kako učiteljska shvaćanja kreativnosti utječu na njihovu praksu. Također, spominju se i načini razvoja kreativnosti kod učitelja.
U trećem dijelu rada prezentirano je vlastito istraživanje provedeno s četiri učiteljice, točnije dvije učiteljice razredne i dvije učiteljice predmetne nastave matematike. S učiteljicama je proveden intervju radi istraživanja njihovog shvaćanja kreativnosti, a potom je analiziran njihov sat matematike kako bi se usporedilo njihovo shvaćanje s djelovanjem u praksi.
Rad doprinosi boljem razumijevanju važnosti kreativnosti u obrazovanju, posebno u kontekstu nastave matematike, te nudi smjernice za unapređenje nastavne prakse kroz razvoj kreativnih kompetencija kod učitelja.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explores creativity in mathematics teaching, with a special emphasis on the role of the creative teacher. The first part of the thesis defines the concept of creativity, types of creativity, and specifically mentions mathematical creativity and states its definition and characteristics.
The second part of the thesis is dedicated to the creative mathematics teacher. Characteristics that make a teacher creative are considered, then how creativity is manifested in teaching mathematics, and it is stated how a teachers' understanding of creativity influence their practice. Additionally, ways to develop creativity in teachers are mentioned.
The third part of the thesis presents my own research conducted with four teachers: two primary school teachers and two secondary school mathematics teachers. Interviews were conducted with the teachers to investigate their understanding of creativity, followed by an analysis of their mathematics lessons to compare their understanding with their practical application.
The thesis contributes to a better understanding of the importance of creativity in education, particularly in the context of mathematics teaching, and offers guidelines for improving teaching practices through the development of teachers' creative competencies.
