Abstract

Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi razlike u pojedinim morfološkim obilježjima i motoričkim sposobnostima djece uključene u sportski program i djece uključene u redoviti program ustanove za rani i predškolski odgoj i obrazovanje. U istraživanje su uključeni polaznici Dječjeg vrtića Karlovac, njih 51 u dobi od 6 godina. Sportski program vrtića polazi 25 djece (eksperimentalna skupina). U okviru programa djeca sudjeluju u organiziranoj tjelesnoj aktivnosti četiri puta tjedno u razdoblju od 9 mjeseci ili duže. Redoviti program (kontrolna skupina) polazi 26 djece te oni tjelesno vježbanje provode jednom tjedno. Testovima motoričkih sposobnosti ispitana je ravnoteža (stajanjem na jednoj nozi, MRSJNK), koordinacija (poligon natraške, MKPN), repetitivna snaga (podizanje trupa, MST30), eksplozivna snaga (skok u dalj, MSDM), brzina (taping rukom 10s, MBTR), gibljivost (pretklon trupa, MFSR) i izdržljivost (trčanje 120s, MI120). Tjelesnom visinom i težinom utvrđen je indeks tjelesne mase. Utvrđene su osnovne deskriptivne karakteristike rezultata primijenjenih motoričkih i morfoloških testova, a razlike među skupinama ispitane su t-testom za nezavisne uzorke. Rezultati su pokazali kako postoji razlika u pojedinim testovima motoričkih sposobnosti. Najznačajnija razlika uočena je u testovima eksplozivne snage i brzine, a najniža u testovima izdržljivosti i ravnoteže. Statistički značajna razlika uočena je i u testovima koordinacije i repetitivne snage. Razlike u morfološkim mjerenjima nisu utvrđene. Na temelju iznesenih rezultata možemo zaključiti da je tjelesno vježbanje u predškolskom razdoblju vrlo važno za razvoj motoričkih sposobnosti, ali i za cjelokupan rast i razvoj djeteta.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to determine the differences in the certain morphological characteristics and motor abilities of children involved in the sports program and the children included in the regular program of kindergarten. 51 children at the age of 6 are included for the purpose of this study. 25 children attend a sports program (experimental group) and participate in organized physical activity four times a week for a period of 9 months (or longer). 26 children attend the regular program (control group) and exercise once a week. The respondents were selected from Kindergarten Karlovac. The variables were composed of seven motor tests for assessing balance (standing on one foot, MRSJNK), coordination (polygon backwards, MKPN), repetitive strength (sit ups, MST30), explosive strength (long jump, MSDM), speed (hand tapping for 10s, MBTR), flexibility (forward bow, MFSR) and endurance (running for 120s, MI120). Body mass index was also determined by body weight and height. The basic descriptive parameters of applied motor and morphological tests were determined. The differences between groups were tested by t-test for independent samples. The most significant difference was noticed in tests of explosive strength and speed, and the lowest in tests of endurance and balance. A statistically significant difference has also been noticed in coordination and repetitive strength. Differences in morphological measurements have not been established. Based on the results we can conclude that physical exercise in preschool period is very important for the development of motor skills and also for the entire growth and development of a child.
