Abstract

Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi postoje li razlike u morfološkim karakteristikama između dječaka i djevojčica, razlike u efikasnosti u testovima procjene koordinacijskih sposobnosti te postoji li povezanost i utjecaj pojedinih morfoloških karakteristika na koordinacijske sposobnosti djece. Za pojedine latentne dimenzije u sklopu istraživanja odabrano je 14 morfoloških varijabli. Za procjenu koordinacije odabrani su testovi trčanje s mlatićem (MKTM), krug četveronoške (MKTČ) i trčanje do čunjeva (MKTČ). Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 49 djece od čega je bilo 24 dječaka i 25 djevojčica u dobi od 4 do 4 i pol godine (±3 mjeseca) s područja Krapinsko-zagorske županije. Razlike između morfoloških karakteristika i uspješnosti u testovima koordinacije između dječaka i djevojčica dobivene su t-testom. Povezanost i utjecaj morfoloških karakteristika na efikasnost u testovima koordinacije dobiven je korelacijskom analizom. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju statistički značajne razlike između pojedinih morfoloških karakteristika po spolovima. Dječaci su viši, teži, imaju duže ruke i kraće noge, dok djevojčice imaju širi opseg prsnog koša, struka i bokova. U procjeni koordinacije, dječaci ostvaruju uspješnije rezultate u svim provedenim testovima. Korelacijska analiza potvrdila je utjecaj pojedinih morfoloških karakteristika na efikasnost u izvođenju testova za procjenu koordinacije. Tako raspon ramena kod dječaka ima utjecaj na test krug četveronoške (MKTČ), a kod djevojčica tjelesna visina i dužina ruke ima utjecaja na test krug četveronoške (MKTČ). Količina potkožnog masnog tkiva na području leđa i na području trbuha utjecala je na uspješnost u testu trčanje s mlatićem (MKTM), dok je kod djevojčica količina potkožnog masnog tkiva na području leđa utjecala na uspješnost u testovima trčanje do čunjeva (MKTČ) i trčanje s mlatićem (MKTM).

Abstract (english)

The aim of this research was to identify differences in morphological characteristics between boys and girls, differences in efficiency in evaluative testing of coordination skills, and whether there is a correlation between and influence of certain morphological characteristics on children's coordination skills. As part of the research fourteen morphological variables were chosen for certain latent dimensions. The tests chosen for the evaluation of coordination were running with spongy (MKTM), circling on all fours (MKKČ), and running towards cones (MKTČ). The research was conducted on a sample of 49 children, 24 of whom were boys and 25 of whom were girls aged 4 to 4 and a half years (±3 months), all coming from Krapina – Zagorje County. The differences in morphological characteristics and in efficiency in coordination testing between boys and girls were acquired using a t-test. The correlation between and the influence of morphological characteristics on efficiency in coordination skills testing were acquired using a correlation analysis. The results of the research show statistically significant differences between certain morphological characterstics by gender. Boys are taller, heavier, have longer arms and shorter legs, while girls have wider chest, waist and hips range. In evaluation of coordination, boys achieved better results in all of the conducted tests. Correlation analysis confirmed the influence of certain morphological characteristics on efficiency in evaluative testing of coordination skills. Thus, the boys' shoulder range influences the circling on all fours test (MKKČ), while the girls' height and arm length influence (MKKČ). The amount of the subcutaneous fat in the back and abdominal areas influenced the perfomance on the running with spongy test (MKTM), while the girls' amount of subcutaneous fat in the back area influenced the performance on the running towards cones (MKTČ) and circling on all fours (MKKČ) tests.
