Abstract

Ovim radom obradit će se najznačajnija literatura s područja stripa, dat će se kratak i općenit uvod u strip te će se sintetizirati obilježja stripa koja ga najbolje opisuju i razlikuju od drugih medija i kategorizirat će se kao različita izražajna sredstva stripa. Ideja za stvaranjem takvog popisa proizašla je iz činjenice da strip kao jedna od umjetnosti i dalje nema točno strukturiranu podjelu izražajnih sredstava koja su karakteristična samo za tu umjetnost. Izražajna sredstva stripa podijeljena su na glavne temeljne odrednice, a unutar će nekih biti potrebe za dubljim podjelama – crtež, kadar, oblačić, tekst, zvuk, priča i duljina. Svako izražajno sredstvo potkrijepit će se što kvalitetnijim vizualnim primjerima iz svijeta stripa za djecu i za odrasle, s namjerom da se na što zorniji način prikaže što je moguće više mogućnosti koje strip nudi. Skrenut će se pažnja i na mogućnosti korištenje stripa u odgojno-
-obrazovnom procesu, dotaknuti povezanost stripa s djecom predškolske dobi i iznijeti najznačajniji pozitivni utjecaji stripa na djecu. Kao dodatak bit će priložen i popis stripova za djecu, koji se mogu koristiti u radu s djecom te kao slobodan izbor materijala za čitanje, s područja Hrvatske i svijeta, od najranije dobi pa sve do osnovne škole.

Abstract (english)

The purpose of this work is to process the most important literature from the field of comic books and graphic novels, to give a short and general introduction into comic books, to summarize the features which best describe and distinguish comics from other media and to categorize them as different stylistic features of comics. The idea for creating this kind of list arose from the fact that comics, as one type of art, still do not have the structural categorization of their stylistic features which are characteristic only for this art. Stylistic features of comics are divided into the main categories, while some of them will need even deeper division – drawing, frame, speech bubble, words, sound, story and length. Each of the stylistic features will be supported with the visual examples from the world of comic books for both kids and adults that will try to best picture as many different possibilities of comics as possible. There will also be words about uses and different options of using comics in the educational process, what the connection regarding comics and preschool children is and what the most important positive impacts of comics are when it comes to children. As an addition, there will be a list of comics added at the end that can be used as educational material and as a free form of reading for children from an early age all the way up until elementary school, from both Croatia and the world domain.
