Abstract

Emocije su jedna od sastavnih komponenti ljudskoga bića, usko povezana s kognitivnom, socijalnom i ponašajnom strukturom ličnosti. Pripovijedanje je, s druge strane, sposobnost koju čovjeku kao takav posjeduje u svojoj prirodi i koristi ju u svakodnevnom životu. Na osnovu spomenutog, neupitna je povezanost pripovijedanja i emocionalnog razvoja, što je ujedno i temeljna problematika ovoga rada. Dijeljenje priče osobito je važno u najranijim godinama djetetova života kada su emocionalni doživljaji snažni, često impulzivni i djetetu neobjašnjivi. Prilikom dijeljenja priče, pripovjedač je dužan pružiti istinsku emociju i vjerovanja kako bi slušateljima omogućio sigurno okruženje i pozvao na suradnju. Pritom planirano u strukturu priče ugrađuje elemente kojima kod publike stvara određene emocionalne konstrukte. Posebnu ulogu u procesuiranju emocija imaju terapeutske i osobne priče koje ovisno o primjeni, mogu imati iscjeljujući učinak na pojedinca i njegovo suočavanje s problemima vlastitog iskustva. O utjecaju pripovijedanja na emocionalni razvoj djece, i potencijalnim negativnim učincima intervjuirano je i nekoliko pripovjedača u svrhu izrade ovoga rada.

Abstract (english)

Emotions are one of the most important components of the human being, closely related to the cognitive, social and behavioral structure of the personality. Storytelling, on the other hand, is the ability that man as such possesses in his nature and uses it in everyday life. On the basis of the aforementioned, the connection between storytelling and emotional development is indisputable, which is at the same time the fundamental problem of this thesis. Sharing a story is especially important in the earliest years of a child's life when emotional experiences are powerful, often impulsive, and inexplicable to the child. When sharing a story, the narrator is required to provide genuine emotion and beliefs to give listeners a safe environment and invite collaboration. In doing so, it incorporates elements into the story structure that create certain emotional constructs in the audience. A special role in the processing of emotions is played by therapeutic and personal stories which, depending on the application, can have a healing effect on the individual and their coping with the problems of their own experience. Several storytellers were interviewed about the impact of storytelling on children's emotional development, and possible negative effects for the purpose of producing this work.
