Abstract

Kraj Drugog svjetskog rata donio je odbacivanje tradicionalnih vrijednosti i stvaranje novog socijalističkog poretka u Jugoslaviji. Obrazovanje djece i stav prema djetinjstvu općenito tek je jedna od posljedica socijalističke revolucije. Jugoslavenska ideologija nastojala je stvoriti identitet socijalističkog djeteta kroz odgoj i obrazovanje, školske predmete, prazničke rituale pa sve do upravljanja slobodnim vremenom, a u okviru njega i časopisa za djecu i mladež. Propaganda Komunističke partije Jugoslavije željela je pomoću časopisa nametnuti osjećaj ponosa na jugoslavensku državu, na maršala Tita, Komunističku partiju i jugoslavenski narod što je utjecalo na izgradnju budućeg socijalističkog građana. Analizom sadržaja časopisa Pionir, Horizont i Plavi vjesnik u razdoblju od 1945. – 1960. dobivamo uvid u strukturu i funkcioniranje tadašnje vlasti i njezin utjecaj na društvo te mehanizme izgradnje socijalističkog poretka. Obilježavanjem državnih praznika izravno se utjecalo na mlade čitatelje te stvaralo temelje komunističkog društva. Svojom važnosti isticali su se Dan Republike i Dan dječje radosti, kao i Titov rođendan, kasnije preimenovan u Dan mladosti, koji se proslavljao jednakim intenzitetom iako nije bio službeni praznik. Prikazom organizacije, svečanosti, ali i pučke zabave koja je bila rezervirana za narod, davalo se na važnosti praznicima, stvarala se nova tradicija, ali u svemu se nametao politički karakter.

Abstract (english)

The end of the World War II. announced the rejection of traditional values and the creation of socialism in Yugoslavia. The education of children and the attitude towards childhood in general is only one of the consequences of the socialist revolution. Yugoslavic ideology attempted to create an identity of a socialistic child through nurture and education, school subjects, holiday rituals, and also through their free time, including children magazines. The propaganda of the Communistic Party of Yugoslavia wanted to impose a sense of pride through the magazine towards the Yugoslavia, marshal Tito, Communist party and Yugoslavic people, which affected the development of a future socialistic citizen. Analysing the contents of magazines Pionir, Horizont and Plavi vjesnik in the period from 1945. – 1960. we can get the insight into structure and operation of the former government and its influence on the society and mechanism for creating a socialist order. Young readers were indirectly influenced by celebrations of national holidays, and that way the foundations of the communist party were made. The most important holidays were The day of the Republic and The day of children’s joy, as well as Tito’s birthday, later renamed to The day of youth, which was celebrated with the same thrill even though it was not an official holiday. The presentation of organization, festivity, and folk entertainment which was reserved for the demos, gave importance to holidays and the new tradition was created, but the political character was always imposed.
