Abstract

Suvremeni metodički pristup nastavi početnog čitanja i pisanja ističe igrolike aktivnosti kao primjeren oblik učenja u primarnom odgoju i obrazovanju. Igrolike aktivnosti, dakle, imaju odgojnu i obrazovnu funkciju. Učitelj pritom treba materijalizirati svoje znanje te ostvariti motivirajuće ozračje u kojem će se igrolike aktivnosti provoditi inicirajući tako rast i razvoj svakog učenika.
U svrhu ovog rada provedeno je istraţivanje, odnosno sustavno promatranje četiriju prvih razreda na području Krapinsko-zagorske ţupanije. U istraţivanju je sudjelovalo (N=59) učenika i (N=4) učiteljice. Cilj istraţivanja bio je ispitati frekvenciju korištenja igrolikih aktivnosti usmjerenih na govoreni modalitet hrvatskog jezika, frekvenciju korištenja izrade metodičkih artefakata u nastavi početnog čitanja i pisanja te ispitati koriste li se odreĎene igrolike aktivnosti kojima se potiče čitanje. Rezultati dobiveni ovim istraţivanjem pokazuju da se igrolike aktivnosti usmjerene na govoreni modalitet hrvatskog jezika rijetko koriste, dok se izrada metodičkih artefakata u nastavi početnog čitanja i pisanja ne koristi. TakoĎer, rezultati pokazuju da se koriste odreĎene igrolike aktivnosti kojima se potiče čitanje.
Dobiveni rezultati ograničene su relevantnosti zbog malog uzorka ispitanika i zbog kratkog vremenskog perioda u kojem je sustavno promatranje provedeno. Stoga se na temelju dobivenih rezultata ne mogu donositi globalni zaključci. Podatci bi bili relevantniji kada bi ispitivanje bilo provedeno na većem broju ispitanika i na duţem vremenskom periodu (jedna školska godina). Bilo bi dobro da istraţivanje započne na početku školske godine (u rujnu) kada djeca doĎu u prvi razred i da traje do završetka školske godine (do lipnja).

Abstract (english)

Contemporary approach to reading and writing highlights game alike activities as a form of learning in primary upbringing and education. Game alike activities, therefore, have both educational and developmental function. The teacher should therefore materialize his/her knowledge in order to achieve the motivating atmosphere in which to playing game alike activities would initiate the growth and development of each pupil.
For the purpose of this paper, a research was conducted, ie a systematic observation of the four first grades in the Krapina-Zagorje County area. Participants of the study were (N = 59) pupils and (N = 4) teachers. The aim of the research was to examine the frequency of using of game alike activities of the spoken modality of the Croatian language, frequency of using methodical artifacts in initial reading and writing classes and to see whether teachers use certain game alike activities that stimulate reading. The results obtained by this research show that game alike activities of the spoken modality of the Croatian language are rarely use, while the usage of methodical artifacts in reading and writing teaching is not used at all. Also, the results indicate that certain game alike activities that encourage reading are used.
The results obtained are limited due to a small sample of the respondent and a short period of time in which systematic observation has been carried out. Therefore, global conclusions can not be made on the basis of the obtained results. Results would be more relevant if the research was done on a large number of subjects over a long period of time (one school year). It would be good for research to begin at the beginning of the school year (in September) when the children come to the first grade and until the end of the school year (until June).
