Abstract

Odabrala sam temu o razvoju računalnih kompetencija u predškolskoj dobi jer takve kompetencije sve više utječu na odgojno – obrazovni proces današnjice. Računalo je intelektualna alatka koja nosi obilježje vremena u kojem živimo. Tema se obrađuje kroz četiri poglavlja. U prvom poglavlju govori se o računalu u dječjoj okolini. Ističu se prednosti, ali i nedostatci korištenja računala u ranoj dobi, upravo iz razloga kako bi se spoznala važnost da i odgojitelji postanu informatički kompetentni za prijenos vlastitih znanja na djecu određene dobi. Dani su i prikazi istraživanja provedenih u Kini i Grčkoj. U drugom poglavlju definirana je kompetencija i kroz tri tablice prikazani su modeli istog. Govori se o kompetencijama koje su poželjne i kod djece, ali i kod odraslih. Također, objašnjena su i znanja i vještine koja su potrebna za 21.stoljeće. U trećem poglavlju govori se o ulozi roditelja i odgojitelja u dječjoj informacijskoj pismenosti. Sigurno je kako je zadaća svih onih koji se susreću s djecom u njihovoj najranijoj dobi iznimno velika, upravo iz razloga što im i oni usađuju vrlo važne i trajne životne vrijednosti. Stoga je bitno da su te vrijednosti kvalitetne i u skladu s djetetovim cjelokupnim razvojem. Prikazani su i rezultati istraživanja iz 2016.godine – Upotreba medija kod kuće. U zadnjem dijelu prikazani su rezultati provedenog istraživanja s ciljem saznanja kakvi su stavovi roditelja o razvoju računalnih kompetencija djece predškolske dobi. Istraživanje je provedeno od srpnja do rujna 2019. godine i rezultati su predočeni u diplomskom radu.

Abstract (english)

I chose the topic on the development of computer competences in preschool age, because such competences are increasingly affecting the educational process of today. A computer is an intellectual tool that bears the hallmark of the times we live in. The topic is covered through four chapters. Chapter one talks about a computer in a child's environment. The advantages and disadvantages of using a computer at early age are highlighted, precisely for reasons to recognize the importance for educators to become computer-competent to transfer their knowledge to children of a certain age. There are also presented research findings from China and Greece. The second chapter defines competency and shows three competency models through three tables. It talks about competencies that are desirable in both children and adults. Also, the knowledge and skills needed for the 21st century have been clarified. Chapter three discusses the role of parents and educators in children's information literacy. It is certain that the task of all those who encounter children at their earliest ages is extremely great, precisely because they are the ones who, among other things, instill lasting life values. Therefore, it is important that these values are of high quality and in line with the child's overall development. Also there are presented the results of the 2016. - Use of Media at Home The last section presents the results of the research conducted with the aim of finding out what parents' attitudes are about the development of computer competences of preschool children. The research was conducted from July to September 2019 and the results are presented in the thesis.
