Abstract

Fenomen djetinjstva obilježava iznimno važno razdoblje života u kojemu dijete aktivno uči o sebi i svojoj okolini. Pritom je dječja znatiželja najvažniji poticaj za istraživanje i otkrivanje svijeta koji ga okružuje, pa samim time i za razumijevanje sebe i drugih te shvaćanje prave istine. Dječja želja za spoznajom, odnosno ljubav prema znanju koju Platon naziva eros, pokreće ih na istraživanje i postavljanje mnogobrojnih pitanja na koja neumorno traže odgovore. Također, smisao filozofskih pitanja zapravo je upoznati samoga sebe te ona potiču na obvezu mišljenja, pa tako utječu upravo na misaoni razvoj djece. Djeca traženjem odgovora dolaze do spoznaje, odnosno do istine, što im omogućuje mijenjanje njihova djelovanja i mišljenja. Protučinjeničnim mišljenjem koriste se u zamišljanjima brojnih mogućnosti i stvaranju vlastitih svjetova ispunjenih maštom, a pritom je neupitna i uloga igre u misaonom razvoju, putem koje aktivno uče i razvijaju se te postaju svjesniji samih sebe. Svijest se razvija usporedno uz osobni identitet, odnosno vlastito poimanje sebe, a ono je određeno doživljajima, promišljanjima i iskustvima pojedinca. Poznato je mišljenje da svijest odraslih potječe iz djetinjstva pa se tako izniman značaj daje iskustvima iz tog ranog i osjetljivog razdoblja, koje služi upravo kao podloga za vlastiti razvoj pojedinca.

Abstract (english)

The phenomenon of childhood marks an extremely important period of life in which a child actively learns about themselves and their surroundings. Children's curiosity is the most important stimulus for exploring and discovering the surrounding world, and thus for understanding oneself and the others and also for understanding the real truth. The child's desire for cognition, or the love for knowledge which Plato calls eros, triggers them to explore and to ask many questions that are tirelessly seeking for answers. Also, the meaning of philosophical questions is actually getting to know oneself and it encourages the commitment of thinking, so it affects just the thought development of children. Children by seeking for answers come to the cognition, or to the truth, enabling them to change their actions and opinions. Counterfactual thinking is used in the imagination of many possibilities and the creation of their own worlds, while the role of the game in thought development is unquestionable, through which they are actively learning and developing and also becoming more aware of themselves. Consciousness is developed comparatively personal identity, or self-perception of self, and is determined by the experiences, thoughts and experiences of an individual. It is well-known that adult consciousness comes from childhood so the great importance is given to experiences from that early and sensitive period, which serves just as a basis for the individual's development.
