Abstract

Ovaj rad bavi se radnim orijentacijama i izvorom stresa na poslu odgojitelja. Na samome početku ova dva pojma pobliže su teorijski opisana i tumačena, nakon čega slijedi istraživanje radnih orijentacija i izvora stresa kod odgojitelja. Cilj tog istraživanja bio je istražiti rade li odgojitelji svoj posao s orijentacijom na životni poziv, karijeru ili izvor prihoda, te što to najviše izaziva stres kod odgojitelja na njihovom poslu. Posljednji cilj bio je ispitati odnos radnih orijentacija i stresa odgojitelja. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 85 odgojitelja iz Grada Zagreba. Za mjerenje radnih orijentacija primijenjen je Modificirani upitnik radnih orijentacija (Wrzesniewski i sur., 1997), dok je za mjerenje izvora stresa odgojitelja primijenjena Skala izvora stresa na poslu odgojitelja (Živčić- Bećirević i Smojver-Ažić, 2005). Rezultati nam pokazuju kako najveći broj odgojitelji koji su sudjelovali u ovom istraživanju rade svoj posao s orijentacijom na karijeru i životni poziv, a najmanje njih s orijentacijom na izvor prihoda. Nadalje, istraživanje nam pokazuje kako odgojiteljima najveći stres stvaraju roditelji. Odgojitelji koji na svoj posao gledaju samo kao na izvor prihoda doživljavaju najviše stresa.

Abstract (english)

This paper presents a brief research based discussion about different sources of stress and orientations to work among preschool teachers. First part of the paper will be focused on giving the appropriate explanation of these two terms while the second part presents research on these two subjects. Furthermore the main aim of the research was to identify the most common cause of stress in preschool teachers' profession as well as clarify if preschool teachers choose their job from feeling it is their life purpose, to make a career or to make a living from it. Furthermore, the aim was to question the relation between orientations to work and the amount of stress. Ninety-five preschool teachers from Zagreb have taken place in this research that was carried out by a Work–Life Questionnaire (Wrzesniewski and co., 1997) and Scale of sources of stress in work of educators ( Živčić- Bećirević & Smojver-Ažić, 2005). In the end the results have shown that most of the preschool teachers who have taken part in this research have high career and calling orientation with low orientation to job as the source of financial resource. Moreover the research has shown that the most common source of stress is communication with parents. Preschool teachers who see their job mainly as source of financial resources have the highest level of stress.
