Abstract

U taekwondo školi, namjenjenoj predškolskom uzrastu, naglasak je stavljen na efikasno usvajanje i usavršavanje potrebitih motoričkih znanja počevši od jednostavnih oblika kretanja prema složenijim oblicima. Svrha ovoga rada bila je utvrditi razlike u efikasnosti djece polaznika taekwondo škole uspoređujući pritom dvije skupine iste dobi, jedne koja vježba dva puta tjedno i druge koja vježba tri puta tjedno. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 20 djece, od čega 8 djevojčica i 12 dječaka, u dobi od 6 do 7 godina. Motorička efikasnost ispitivana je baterijom od šest testova kojima se mjerila ravnoteža (stoj na jednoj nozi), repetitivna snaga nogu i koordinacija (dupli udarci – kick), brzina (trčanje), jakost (dinamometrija šake), eksplozivna snaga (skok u dalj) te tjelesna visina i težina. Dobiveni podaci obrađeni su Studentovim t – testom. Skupina djece koja trenira taekwondo tri puta tjedno po 75 minuta postigla je bolje rezultate u odnosu na skupinu djece koja trenira taekwondo dva puta tjedno po 45 minuta međutim, statistički značajna razlika nije prepoznata.

Abstract (english)

In taekwondo school, intended for preschool age, the emphasis is placed on the effective acquisition and improvement of the necessary motor skills, starting with simple forms of movement towards more complex forms. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the effectiveness of children in taekwondo schools by comparing two groups of the same age, one who exercises twice a week and the other who exercises three times a week. The study involved 20 children, including 8 girls and 12 boys, aged 6 to 7. Motor efficiency in children was tested with a battery of six tests that measured balance (standing on one leg), repetitive leg strength and coordination (double kicks - kick), speed (running), strength (hand dynamometry), explosive power (long jump) and body height and weight. The obtained data were processed by Student 's t - test. The group of children that practiced taekwondo three times a week for 75 minutes achieved better results compared to the group of children that practiced taekwondo twice a week for 45 minutes however, a statistically significant difference was not recognized.
