Abstract

Mijenjanjem društva, mijenjaju se i zahtjevi i očekivanja od roditelja. Kako razvoj djeteta ovisi o okruženju u kojem se ono razvija, primarni cilj roditelja i odgajatelja jest briga, skrb i odgoj.
Postupci koje roditelji koriste u odgoju uvelike utječu na odnose roditelj – dijete. Kako bi se odnos roditelj – dijete osnažio, potrebno je graditi partnerski odnos roditelja i ustanove. Za građenje partnerskih odnosa izrazito su bitni iskrena dvosmjerna komunikacija, želja za partnerstvom, povjerenje i poštovanje. Svaki odnos susreće se s izazovima. Neki mogu biti interpersonalni dok je većina vremenske prirode. Cilj svakog partnerskog odnosa je prebroditi sve izazove i prepreke koje se nađu na putu te stvoriti okruženje pogodno za pravilan rast i razvoj.
Kako bi odgajatelji i roditelji mogli surađivati, potrebno je posjedovati profesionalne kompetencije te određena znanja kojima bi odgajatelji mogli pripomoć partnerstvu. Jačanjem pedagoških kompetencija roditelja, odgajatelj stvara bezbroj mogućnosti za partnerstva i s ostalim ustanovama koje i izvan obitelji brinu za dijete. Oni osnažuju roditelje i prihvaćaju roditeljske odluke.
Jačanje pedagoških kompetencija roditelja provodi se na više razina, a kao ključna razina jačanja kompetencija je mogućnost stjecanja znanja i potrebnih vještina. Roditelji mogu steći određena znanja i vještine pohađanjem programa za osnaživanje roditelja. Programi stavljaju dijete u središte procesa, a primarni cilj programa mora biti dobrobit djeteta.

Abstract (english)

Changing the society, parent’s rules and expectations also change. As child’s development depends on the environment in which it develops, parents and preschool teachers main goal is care and upbringing the child.
Procedures that parents use in raising a child also affect the parent-child relationship. To strengthen the parent-child relationship we must build a partnership between parents and institutes. Communication, a desire for a partnership, trust and respect are important for building a good relationship between a parent and an institution. Every relationship may encounter some difficulties. Some difficulties are interpersonal, yet most difficulties are related to a wrong timing. Main goal of every partnership is to overcome challenges and difficulties that they encounter so they could make a safe environment for the child’s development and growth.
For the preschool teacher and parent to cooperate, we must have professional knowledge of how to raise a child properly so we could help parents in the child’s proper development. By strengthening parents pedagogical competences, a preschool teacher creates hundreds opportunities for a partnership with other institutions that take care of a child outside of family, they strengthen parental abilities and accept parental decisions.
Strengthening pedagogical competences of parents is being implemented on many levels and the mail level is the possibility of gaining knowledge and needed skills. Parents may gain knowledge and skills by attending programs for strengthening parents. These programs put the child in the middle of a process and the main goal of the program must be the child’s wellbeing.
