Abstract

Svrha i cilj ovoga rada jest prikazati na koji su način povezani zaposlenost roditelja i stres. U ovom radu, dat je prikaz teorijskih polazišta koja se odnose na roditeljstvo i roditeljske odgojne stilove, a zatim su objašnjeni stres, stres na radnome mjestu i zaposlenost, te veza između roditeljstva, stresa i zaposlenosti. U radu je prikazan integrativni model roditeljstva (Martin i Colbert, 1997; prema Maglica, 2017) koji objedinjuje Bronfenbrennerovu ekološku teoriju (Bronfenbrenner, 1979) dječjeg razvoja s Belskyjevim procesnim modelom (1984) te shvaćanjem o recipročnosti svih odnosa među dijelovima modela, kao i promjenom i razvojem samih roditelja kao posljedicom roditeljstva. Objašnjen je i model radno-obiteljskog sučelja (work-family interface) (Frone, Russell i Cooper, 1992) u kojemu je moguće razlikovati četiri oblika međusobnog utjecaja, tj. prelijevanja utjecaja radne i obiteljske uloge: povoljan i nepovoljan utjecaj rada izvan kuće na obitelj te povoljan i nepovoljan utjecaj obitelji na plaćeni rad izvan kuće (Čudina-Obradović i Obradović, 2001).

Abstract (english)

The purpose and goal of this paper is to show the relationship between parents’ employment and stress. In this master thesis, parenting and parenting styles are theoretically explained, and after that focus is moved to stress, workplace stress and employment, and the relationship between parenting, stress, and employment. In this paper the integrative model of parenthood is shown (Martin & Colbert, 1997; according to Maglica, 2017) which unifies Bronfenbrenner ecological theory (Bronfenbrenner, 1979) of child development with Belsky process model (1984) with all of relations between the parts of that model, the change and development of parents themselves and the consequence of the parenthood itself. The model of work - family interface is also described (Frone, Russell & Cooper, 1992) in which it is possible to differentiate four types of mutual influence, i.e. the overflow of the influence of the work and family role: beneficial and adverse influence of work outside of the house on the family, and beneficial and adverse influence of paid work outside of the house (Čudina-Obradović i Obradović, 2001).
