Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je istražiti prehrambene navike djece i uvidjeti kako one utječu na antropometrijske karakteristike djece. Tjelesna visina (TV) i tjelesna težina (TT) djeteta su najvažnije su karakteristike za procjenu somatskog rasta i razvoja, s time da je tjelesna težina podložna utjecaju okoline za razliku od tjelesne visine. Tjelesna težina je vjerojatno najbolji i najraniji pokazatelj ishrane i dinamike rasta. Izračunavanjem indeksa mase tijela (ITM) te percentila indeksa tjelesne mase (%ITM) procijenili smo stanje uhranjenosti djece. Pravilna prehrana u fazi intezivnog rasta i razvoja je bitna jer može spriječiti većinu kroničnih bolesti u kasnijoj dobi, a sve to možemo pratiti uz pomoć antropoloških mjerenja. Bitno je razviti kod djece pozitivne prehrambene navike i zdrav stil života kroz svakodnevne tjelesne aktivnosti kako bi im omogućili optimalne uvjete za rast i razvoj. Zato moramo roditelje dovoljno informirati o zdravoj prehrani i zdravim životnim navikama koje pozitivno djeluju na djetetov rast i razvoj.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the eating habits of children and see how they affect the anthropometric characteristics of children. Body height (TV) and body weight (TT) are the most important characteristics for assessing somatic growth and development, with body weight being subject to environmental influence as opposed to body height. Body weight is probably the best and earliest indicator of diet and growth dynamics. By calculating the body mass index (BMI) and the percentile of the body mass index (% BMI), we assessed the nutritional status of children. Proper nutrition in the phase of intensive growth and development is essential because it can prevent most chronic diseases at a later age, and we can monitor all this with the help of anthropological measurements. It is important to develop in children positive eating habits and a healthy lifestyle through daily physical activities to provide them optimal conditions for growth and development. That is why we need to inform parents enough about a healthy diet and healthy living habits that have a positive effect on the child's growth and development.
