Abstract

U ovom završnom radu govori se o povezanosti djetetovih godina, tj. njegove dobi s razvojem motoričkih sposobnosti te o utjecaju vremenskog trajanja tjelesne aktivnosti na razvoj tih istih sposobnosti. Kineziološka aktivnost važan je aspekt života svakog čovjeka, a osobito djeteta jer ono raste i razvija se. Upravo je djetinjstvo ključno razdoblje za utjecaj na razvoj motoričkih sposobnosti, motoričkih znanja, ali i usvajanje zdravih navika koje će djetetu ostati za cijeli život. Motorika je jedna od važnijih područja razvoja djeteta te se često povezuje s razvojem ostalih područja, kao na primjer govora. U literaturi koja govori o motoričkom razvoju možemo pratiti dijete od rođenja pa sve do odrasle dobi, tj. od pojave prvih refleksa do potpunog razvoja motorike.
Istraživanje je provedeno na 98 djece u dobi od 4 do 7 godina od kojih 51 dijete pohađa redoviti program tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture u vrtiću, dok ostalih 47 uz redoviti program pohađaju i školu sporta. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da dolazi do napretka u motoričkim sposobnostima s dobi (četiri do šest godina) u svim provedenim testovima motoričkih sposobnosti. Također, djeca koja se uključena u dodatni sportski program škole sporta pokazuju bolje rezultate, ali ti rezultati nisu od statističke značajnosti.

Abstract (english)

This final paper discusses the connection between a child’s age and the development of his motor skills, as well as the influence of the duration of physical activity on the development of those skills/abilities. Kinesiological activity is an important part of every human being’s life, especially a child’s life because a child grows and develops. Childhood is the key period for influencing on the development of motor skills but also for acquring healthy habits that will remain with the child for life. Motor skills are one of the most important areas of child’s development and are often associated with the development of other areas of growth such as speech. In literature on motor development we can follow a child from birth to adulthood, from the appearance of first reflexes to the full development of motor skills. The research was conducted on 98 children aged 4 to 7 years old, of which 51 children attend a regular program of physical education in kindergarten, while the other 47 with the regular program also attend sports school. The results of the study showed that there is progress with age (four to six years) in all motor skills tests that were conducted. Also, children who are included in the additional sports program of the sports school show slightly better results, but these results are not of statistical significance.
