Abstract

Katolički religiozni odgoj obuhvaća sve segmente života. Istinski i pravilno shvaćen pomaže osobi da, nadahnuta kršćanskim vrjednotama, pristupa svakodnevnim životnim zadatcima. Biti kršćanin ne podrazumijeva samo aktivan liturgijski i sakramentalni život, nego uključuje potrebu unošenja i svjedočenja kršćanskih vrjednota na svim područjima svakodnevnog života.
Direktorij za pastoral Crkve u Hrvatskoj (2002) navodi obitelj i Crkvu kao mjesto odakle kreće prenošenje evanđelja. Evangelizacija počinje od obitelji, što ne znači da samo roditelji prenose evanđeosku poruku svojoj djeci već da u sredini u kojoj žive zajedno proživljavaju evanđeosku riječ. Evangelizacija bi trebala biti dvosmjerna u svakoj kršćanskoj obitelji.
Odgoj u vjeri u predškolskim ustanovama, bez sumnje, uvelike pridonosi razvijanju humanističkih vrjednota koje su bitan segment u cjelovitom odgoju djece predškolske dobi. Upravo radi navedenih argumenata bitno je da izađe iz unutarcrkvene katehetske perspektive i uđe u prostor dijaloga s kulturom ponajprije kroz integraciju u odgojno-obrazovnim programima predškolske ustanove.
Svi odrasli moraju biti svjesni svoje odgovornosti s obzirom na djecu i mlade. Potrebno je zajedničkim snagama obitelji, odgojno-obrazovnih ustanova i kršćanske zajednice promicati pedagoška usmjerenja na istinsku dobrobit djeteta.

Abstract (english)

Religious education encompasses all segments of life. A true and properly understood religious upbringing helps a person, inspired by Christian values, to approach the daily tasks of life. Being a Christian does not only mean an active liturgical and sacramental life, but it includes the need to introduce and bear witness to Christian values in all areas of daily life.
The Directorate for the Pastoral Care of the Church in Croatia (2002) states that the family, like the Church, must be a place where the gospel is transmitted and from where it eminates. The evangelization eminates within the family, not only do parents pass on the gospel to their children, but they can receive the same gospel from them as it is deeply lived. The family is evangelized by many other families as well as the environment in which they live. The evangelization should be a "two-way street" in every christian family.
Religious education in preschool institutions, without a doubt, greatly contributes to the development of humanistic values that are an important segment in the overall education of preschool children. Precisely because of the above arguments, it is important that it steps out from the inner church catechetical perspective and enters the space of dialogue with culture, primarily through integration into the educational programs of the preschool institution.
All adults must be aware of their responsibilities with regard to children and young people. It is necessary to promote pedagogical orientations for the true well-being of the child by joint efforts of the family, educational institutions and the Christian community.
