Abstract

Cilj ovoga istraživanja bio je utvrditi utječe li stanje uhranjenosti na efikasnost u testovima motoričkih sposobnosti djece predškolske dobi. Istraživanje je provedeno na 16 djece iz dječjeg vrtića “Osijek” u dobi od 4 i pol do 6 godina. Od toga je bilo 8 dječaka i 8 djevojčica. Uzorak varijabli sastojao se od 5 testova motoričkih sposobnosti (koordinacije, repetitivne snage, eksplozivne snage, ravnoteže i brzine) te mjerenja visine i težine na temelju čega su se izačunavali indeks tjelesne mase i percentili uhranjenosti. Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su kako postoje razlike u efikasnosti između dječaka i djevojčica zbog čega je dalje rađena korelacijska analiza pojedinačno za svaki spol. Ta je analiza pokazala kako stanje uhranjenosti kod dječaka utječe na efikasnost u testu koordinacije, a kod djevojčica u testu repetitivne snage. Točnije, oni dječaci koji imaju manje vrijednosti indeksa tjelesne mase i percentila uhranjenosti ostvaruju bolji rezultat u testu poligon natraške od onih dječaka s većim vrijednostima, dok djevojčice s manjim vrijednostima uhranjenosti ostvaruju bolji rezultat u testu trbušnjaci u 30 sekundi od djevojčica s većim vrijednostima.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to determine whether nutritional status affects efficacy in motor skill tests of preschool children. The study was conducted on 16 children, 8 boys and 8 girls, from kindergarten “Osijek” aged from 4 and a half to 6 years. The sample of variables consisted of 5 tests of motor skills (coordination, repetitive power, explosive power, balance and speed) and measurements of height and weight on the basis of which body mass index and nutritional percentiles were calculated. The obtained results showed that there are differences in efficiency between boys and girls, which is why a further correlation analysis was performed individually for each gender. This analysis showed how nutritional status at boys affects efficiency in the coordination test, and at girls in the repetitive strength test. Specifically, those boys with lower body mass index and nutritional percentile have better results on the polygon backward test than those boys with higher values, while girls with lower nutritional values have better results on the sit-up test in 30 seconds than girls with higher values.
