Abstract

Prema zadnjem istraživanju, Savez gluhih i nagluhih objavio je 2009. godine da u Europskoj uniji, prema objedinjenim statističkim podatcima, oko 65 milijuna ljudi ima nekakav tjelesni hendikep, a približno još 15 milijuna neke razvojne teškoće. Opći naziv za sve senzomotorne nedostatke objedinjuje termin invaliditet. Sve više struka (odgojitelji, učitelji, pedagozi, psiholozi, doktori, terapeuti i sl.) svoje obrazovanje usmjerava prema integraciji djece s teškoćama u razvoju u svakodnevni život, od predškolske dobi, preko školovanja do odraslih zaposlenih i samostalnih osoba. Prvu stepenicu u odrastanju sve djece čine roditelji. Oni djetetu pružaju prvi oblik ljubavi i zajedništva i zadovoljavaju sve njegove potrebe. U obiteljima djece s teškoćama u razvoju roditelji postaju i učenici koji, osim što poučavaju svoje dijete, usvajaju nova znanja kroz rad sa stručnim suradnicima. Nakon roditelja u djetetov odgoj i obrazovanje ulaze odgojitelji koji svojim stalnim stručnim usavršavanjem i cjeloživotnim učenjem razvijaju svoje kompetencije te ih prenose na dijete. Te kompetencije pridonose djetetovom društvenom, tjelesnom, spoznajnom i emocionalnom razvoju. Suradnjom roditelja i odgojitelja povezuju se dom i predškolska ustanova te ljudske i profesionalne kompetencije što rezultira sretnim djetetom.

Abstract (english)

According to the latest research, the Alliance of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing announced in 2009. that in the European Union, according to pooled statistics, about 65 million people have some kind of physical disability, and another 15 million have some kind of developmental disability. The general name for all sensorimotor defects unites the term disability. More and more professions (educators, teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, doctors, therapists etc.) are directing their education towards the integration of children with disabilities into everyday life, from preschool age, through schooling to adult employees and independent persons. The first step in growing up of all children are parents. They provide the child with the first form of love, togetherness and satisfy all his needs. In the families of children with disabilities, parents also become students who, in addition to teaching their child, acquire new knowledge through working with professional associates. After the parents, educators enter the child's upbringing and education who, through their continuous professional development and lifelong learning, develop their competencies and transfer them to the child. These competencies contribute to the child's social, physical, cognitive and emotional development. Through the cooperation of parents and educators, the home and the preschool institution are connected, as well as human and professional competencies, which results in a happy child.
