Abstract

Cilj je ovog diplomskog rada procijeniti i usporediti razinu tjelesne aktivnosti kvalitetu prehrane i indeks tjelesne mase djeteta polaznika redovitog programa u predškolskoj ustanovi. Podatci za provedbu istraživanja prikupljeni su putem anketnog upitnika objavljenog u nekoliko grupa na društvenim mrežama čiji su članovi većinom roditelji djece predškolske dobi. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 94 ispitanika te su ankete prikupljene tijekom lipnja 2020. godine. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da se djeca u pravilu dovoljno bave tjelesnom aktivnošću. Što se tiče prehrane, djeca konzumiraju dovoljno voća i povrća, ali žitarice nisu zastupljene onoliko koliko bi trebale biti, budući da se nalaze na vrhu piramide prehrane. Većina djece često konzumira slatkiše, kolače ili čokoladu, što nikako nije preporučljivo, a uz to i previše vremena provode ispred TV-a, mobitela, tableta i računala. Prema izračunu prosječnog indeksa tjelesne mase, djevojčice i dječaci pripadaju skupini normalno uhranjene djece te kada se gleda cijeli uzorak, postotak nije toliko značajan, ali je prisutan.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis is to assess and compare the level of children attending a regular program in preschool. Data for the implementation of the research were collected through a questionnaire published in several groups on social networks whose members are mostly parents of preschool children. In the survey participated 94 respondents. The data for the research was collected during June 2020. The results of the research show that children are generally sufficiently engaged in physical activity. In terms of nutrition, children consume enough fruits and vegetables, but grains, that they are at the top of the food pyramid, are not represented as much as they should be,. Most children often consume sweets, cakes or chocolate, which is not recommended, and besides that, they spend much time in front of TVs, mobile phones, tablets and computers. According to the calculation of the average body mass index, girls and boys belong to the group of normally fed children and when looking at the whole sample there are some children that are obese.
