Nažalost, učestalim nepravilnim korištenjem vokalnog aparata u današnjem svijetu, javlja se sve više poremećaja glasa i oštećenja vokalnog aparata kod učitelja. Stoga, svrha je ovog rada opisati vokalni aparat, objasniti vaţnost očuvanja glasa, objasniti osnovne odrednice vokalne tehnike i navesti određene vokalne vježbe koje bi uvelike pomogle u budućem radu učitelja jer njihovim bi se usvajanjem spriječila pojava mnogih vokalnih poteškoća, zamor glasa te mogući poremećaji vokalnog aparata. Cilj je ovog rada, na temelju ankete, ispitati koliko je učitelja upoznato s vokalnom tehnikom, vokalnom higijenom i vokalnim vježbama. Anketa se sastoji od četiri manja dijela. Prvi dio pitanja obuhvaća opće demografske podatke o ispitaniku. Drugi dio pitanja usmjeren je na glas i ispituje se je li osoba imala ikad poteškoća s glasom te mišljenje učitelja o njihovu govoru i glasu. Treći dio pitanja kontrolira koliko su učitelji upoznati s pojmom „vokalna higijena“ i pridržavaju li se vokalne higijene. četvrti dio pitanja orijentiran je na pojam vokalne vježbe i provjerava koliko učitelja poznaje određene vokalne vježbe te koliko ih redovito izvode. U ovom su istraživanju uključeni učitelji razredne nastave, nastavnici osnovnih i srednjih glazbenih škola. Istraživanje je provedeno u Republici Hrvatskoj na učiteljima razredne nastave Grada Zagreba, Zagrebačke županije i učiteljima osnovnih i srednjih glazbenih škola Grada Zagreba, Zagrebačke ţupanije, Grada Pule i Grada Rijeke (N = 125). Rezultati istraživanja upućuju na potrebnu dodatnu vokalnu edukaciju uĉitelja jer većina ispitanika nije stekla određena znanja o važnosti čuvanja glasa, brige, njege glasa, o vokalnoj higijeni glasa tijekom visokoškolskog obrazovanja te većina ispitanika ne poznaje i ne izvodi vokalne vježbe.
Abstract (english) Teachers are vocal professionals by the nature of their profession, because they use their voice as a professional tool in their work. Unfortunately, with the frequent and improper use of the vocal apparatus in today's world, there are more and more voice disorders and damages to the vocal apparatus. Consequently, the purpose of my graduate thesis is to describe the vocal apparatus, the importance of voice preservation, the basic determinants of vocal technique and certain vocal exercises, because many of vocal difficulties, vocal fatigue and voice disorders can simply be avoided just by understanding of its occurrence. The goal of this graduate thesis is, based on a survey, to examine how many teachers are familiar with vocal technique, vocal hygiene and vocal exercises. The survey consists of 4 smaller parts. The first part of the questionnaire includes general demographic data about the respondent. The second part of the questionnaire focuses on the voice and examines whether the vocal professional has ever had difficulty with the voice and the opinion of the teachers about their speech and voice. The third part of the questionnaire controls how familiar teachers are with the term "vocal hygiene" and whether they adhere to vocal hygiene. The fourth part of the questionnaire is oriented to the concept of vocal exercise and checks how many teachers know certain vocal exercises and how regularly they perform them. This research includes primary school teachers and primary and secondary music school teachers. The research was conducted in the Republic of Croatia on primary school teachers in the City of Zagreb, Zagreb County, the City of Split and primary and secondary music school teachers in the City of Zagreb, Zagreb County, Pula and Rijeka (N = 125). The results of the research indicate on necessity of additional vocal education for teachers because most respondents did not acquire certain knowledge about the importance of voice protection, voice care, vocal hygiene during college education and most respondents do not know and do not perform vocal exercises.
