Abstract

Vrlo često možemo čuti kako su ljudi u stresu te kako je stres sastavni dio današnjeg života koji se nalazi svuda oko nas. Čovjek od stresa ne može pobjeći, a same stresne situacije ne djeluju jednakim intenzitetnom na svakog pojedinca. Dugotrajna izloženost stresu može dovesti i do trajnih posljedica. Dodatan problem predstavlja stres na poslu koji može dovesti do sindroma sagorijevanja. Stres na poslu najčešće se javlja zbog različitih fizičkih uvjeta u kojima pojedinac radi odnosno samih odnosa s kolegama kao i nedostatka komunikacije ili prekomjernih obaveza. Pojedinci se također u stanje stresa mogu dovesti vlastitim mislima. Zbog prirode radnih zadataka posao odgojitelja spada u stresnija zanimanja. Posao odgojitelja nije samo rad s djecom već i komunikacija i suradnja kako s kolegama tako i s roditeljima djece te različitim sustručnjacima u odgojno obrazovnoj ustanovi. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je istražiti izvore stresa na poslu odgojitelja kao i izvore eventualne podrške koji odgojitelji dobivaju. Za dobivanje rezultata koristila se kvalitativna metoda istraživanja. Odgojitelji su putem polustrukturiranog intervjua iskazivali svoja mišljenja, stavove i probleme. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo deset odgojitelja s područja grada Zagreba te šire okolice. Na temelju prikupljenih podataka utvrđeni su točni izvori koji izazivaju stres kod odgojitelja te izvori podrške koju odgojitelji dobivaju s obzirom na navedeni izvor stresa. Izvori stresa kod odgojitelja podijeljeni si u šest kategorije: izvori stresa povezani sa svakodnevnim radom s djecom u odgojnoj skupini, izvori stresa u suradnji sa stručnim timom, izvori stresa u suradnji s roditeljima, izvori stresa u suradnji s kolegicom u odgojnoj skupini, izvori stresa vezani uz uvjete rada te izvore stresa vezano uz opće zadovoljstvo profesionalnom ulogom i podrškom sustava. Rezultati su pokazali kako svaki od navedenih izvora predstavlja stres kod odgojitelja, ali isto tako da postoji više kategorija izvora stresa nego podrške odgojiteljima.

Abstract (english)

Very often we can hear how people are under stress and how stress is an integral part of today's life that is all around us. A person can not escape stress, and stressful situations alone do not act with equal intensity on every individual. Prolonged exposure to stress can also lead to lasting consequences. An additional problem is stress at work which can lead to burnout syndrome. Stress at work most often occurs due to different physical conditions in which the individual works or the relationship with colleagues as well as lack of communication or excessive obligations. Individuals can also be brought into a state of stress by their own thoughts. Due to the nature of work tasks, the job of preschool teacher is one of the most stressful occupations. The job of preschool teacher is not only to work with children, but also to communicate and cooperate with colleagues as well as with the parents of children and various experts in the educational institution. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the sources of stress in the work of preschool teachers as well as the sources of possible support that preschool teacher receive. A qualitative research method was used to obtain the results. Preschool teacher expressed their opinions, views and problems through a semi-structured interview. Ten preschool teacher from the area of the city of Zagreb and the wider area participated in the research. Based on the collected data, the exact sources that cause stress to preschool teacher and the sources of support that preschool teacher receive with regard to the stated source of stress were determined. Sources of stress in preschool teacher are divided into six categories: sources of stress related to daily work with children in the educational group, sources of stress in cooperation with the professional team, sources of stress in cooperation with parents, sources of stress in cooperation with a colleague in the educational group, sources of stress related to working conditions and sources of stress related to general satisfaction with professional role and system support. The results showed that each of these sources represents stress in preschool teachers, but also that there are more categories of sources of stress than support for preschool teachers.
