Abstract

Kroz povijest odnos društva prema djeci s teškoćama u razvoju sezao je od diskriminativnog pristupa do konačne integracije u društvo i ostvarivanjem prava na obrazovanje. Odgojno-obrazovni sustav te njegova uloga u prihvaćanju djece s teškoćama mijenjaju se s obzirom na odnose društva prema njima. Suvremeni odgojno-obrazovni programi kako u svijetu tako i u Hrvatskoj baziraju se na principima integracije i inkluzije. Navedeni programi ističu iznimnu važnost uključivanja djece s teškoćama u razvoju u redovne oblike nastave uz prilagodbu ovisnu o potrebama svakog učenika u skladu s njegovom teškoćom.
U radu je naveden i objašnjen spektar teškoća u razvoju te kako integrirati djecu s teškoćama u redoviti sustav školovanja sa specifičnim naglaskom na kineziološki program odnosno primjerene tjelesne aktivnosti za takvu djecu. Utjecaj tjelesne aktivnosti na djecu s teškoćama pozitivno djeluje na njihov psihomotorički razvoj i uspješnu socijalizaciju. U nastavi tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture djecu motivira traženje skrivenih predmeta, sakupljanje istih te završavanje vježbe u kojoj se mijenja izgled nečega. S time u vezi, ključan je kompetentan učitelj koji će uz individualizirani pristup osmisliti kineziološki program za svako dijete s teškoćom. Takav program sastoji se od tjelesnih aktivnosti i različitih igara s obzirom na djetetovu teškoću koje su mogu preoblikovati ovisno o teškoći.

Abstract (english)

Society has changed its relation towards children with developmental disabilities from pure discriminatory approaches to those practicing full integration into society and realizing the children’ educational rights. The education system changes its viewpoint on children with developmental disabilities in relation to society’s attitude towards them. Contemporary education systems in Croatia as well as the rest of the world are based on the principles of integration and inclusion. Such policies are emphatic about the importance of including the children with developmental disabilities into regular classes, implementing the necessary adjustments depending on the needs of the individual pupil.
This paper lists a spectre of developmental disabilities and shows how to integrate children with developmental disabilities into regular education system especially reflecting at kinesiology programme with physical activities adjusted to their needs. Physical activity has a positive impact on psychomotor development and successful socialization of children with developmental disabilities. In PE classes children are especially motivated when looking hidden objects, collecting them or finishing an activity where they change the look of something. In regard to this, a competent teacher is vital in designing the programme individually for every child’s needs. Such a kinesiology programme consists of physical activities and variety of games which are well adapted to the needs of a particular child with developmental disability.
