Abstract

Dosadašnja znanstvena istraživanja ponudila su mnoštvo dokaza koji potkrepljuju teoriju Velikoga praska, ali kako ljudski um nikada ne miruje, tako ne miruje ni znanost. Svakim se danom teži k novim otkrićima, novim dokazima i nekim novim idejama koje bi pružile još potpuniju sliku ljudske stvarnosti. Cilj ovoga rada je ponuditi načine kako vrtićkoj djeci predstaviti teme s kojima se ne susreću svakodnevno, odnosno približiti im zakone prirode koji utječu na njihove živote bez da su oni toga svjesni i pokazati da ne smijemo podcjenjivati kapacitete dječjeg razumijevanja i mogućnosti shvaćanja.
Rad predstavlja dvije teorije postanka svemira te nudi različite načine kako eksperimentima djeci predočiti dokaze Velikoga praska te način na koji pojedine sile djeluju u prirodi. To su primjerice eksperimenti kojima se dokazuju Hubbleov zakon i Dopplerov efekt kao dokazi Velikoga praska te slikoviti prikazi gravitacije i magnetskog polja, kao prikazivanje djelovanja sila. Teorija struna kratko je opisana, ali ne nudi nikakav eksperiment kojim bi se mogla predstaviti djeci jer niti znanstvenici još uvijek nisu uspjeli ponuditi nikakve dokaze koji bi potkrijepili ovu teoriju.

Abstract (english)

Previous research has offered many pieces of evidence in support of the Big Bang theory, but as the human mind never rests, neither does science. Every day it strives for new discoveries, new evidence, and new ideas which would give us a more complete picture of human reality. This paper's purpose is to propose ways to introduce preschool children to topics which they don't encounter every day, to acquaint them with the laws of nature which affect their lives even when they are unaware of it, as well as to show that children's abilities of comprehension and understanding should not be underestimated.
The paper presents two theories of the origin of the universe and suggests experiments with which to help children visualise the evidence for the Big Bang and the ways in which fundamental forces affect nature. Some of the experiments included can be used to demonstrate Hubble’s law and Doppler effect, the evidence for the Big Bang, while others can be used to illustrate the law of gravity and the magnetic field, as a visualisation of the effects of the fundamental forces. While String theory is briefly described, no experiments are given, as scientists are still unable to offer observable evidence to support this theory.
