Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad usmjeren je na obrazovnu robotiku i važnost primjene robota u obrazovnom procesu. Početak rada obuhvaća povijesni razvoj robota konkretnije navedeni su važni događaji za njihov daljnji razvoj, ali i sam pojam robota, generacije robota i njihova konstrukcija. U sljedećem poglavlju objašnjen je pojam obrazovne robotike i njene primjene te važnost uvođenja pojma robotske pismenosti. Unutar poglavlja navodi se i važnost utjecaja robota na dijete kao i važnost edukacije nastavnika, navode se primjeri dobre prakse i primjena edukativnih robota kod djece. Peto i šesto poglavlje ovog rada opisuje stanje robotskog obrazovanja u Hrvatskoj i kurikulum za nastavu informatike. Inicijative koje promiču robotiku u obrazovanju i upotreba robotskih simulacija opisana su u sljedeća dva poglavlja. Potom, opisana je važnost uvođenja STEM-a u osnovnoškolsko obrazovanje i LEGO kao najpoznatiji obrazovni robotski sustav namijenjen za sve razine obrazovanja. Sljedeće poglavlje govori o robotu mBotu, njegovom nastanku i prikaz potrebnih dijelova za njegovo funkcioniranje. U tom poglavlju prikazani su programi primjene robota mBota u nižim razredima osnovne škole i to za više nastavnih predmeta te prikaz pripreme za uvođenje programiranja u 2. razredu osnovne škole pri korištenju robota mBota. Micro:bit je opisan u dvanaestom poglavlju, a potom se opisuje Scratch
kao važan program koji se koristi u nižim razredima prilikom učenja programiranja. Ovaj rad završava istraživanjem provedenim nad učiteljima koji rade u osnovnoj školi kako bih saznala koliko su škole opremljene robotima i u kojoj mjeri učitelji primjenjuju robote u svakodnevnom nastavnom procesu. Za sam kraj prikazan je osobni osvrt na cjelokupni rad.

Abstract (english)

This thesis focuses on educational robotics and the importance of robot application in the educational process. The beginning of the thesis includes the historical development of robots, more specifically the important events for their further development are listed, but also the very concept of robots, robot generations and their construction. The next chapter explains the concept of educational robotics and its application and the importance of introducing the concept of robotic literacy. The chapter states the importance of the impact of robots on the child as well as the importance of teacher education. There are also examples of good practice and the application of educational robots in children. Chapters five and six describe the state of robotics education in Croatia and the curriculum for computer science teaching. Initiatives that promote robotics in education and the use of robotic simulations are described in the next two chapters. Afterwards, the importance of introduction of STEM to primary education and LEGO as the most famous educational robotic system intended for all levels of education are described. The next chapter is about the robot mBot, its origin and the presentation of the necessary parts for its functioning. This chapter presents the programs for the application of mBots in lower grades of
primary school for several subjects and shows the preparation for the introduction of programming in the 2nd grade of primary school when using mBots. The Micro: bit is described in Chapter twelve, and then Scratch is described as an important program used in the lower grades when learning programming. This paper concludes with a survey conducted on primary school teachers to find out how well schools are equipped with robots and the extent to which teachers use the robots in their daily teaching process. At the very end, a personal review of the entire work is presented.
