Abstract

Tjelesna i zdravstvena kultura pripada u obvezne predmete primarnog obrazovanja te je dio nacionalnog kurikuluma mnogih europskih zemalja. Glavni cilj ovog predmeta poticanje je osobnog, društvenog i tjelesnog razvoja djece uz nastojanje za što zdravijim načinom života. U današnjem vrijeme sve je više prisutna prekomjerna težina stanovništva, tako da je tjelesna i zdravstvena kultura i bilo kakav oblik tjelesne aktivnosti nužan. Sami predmet sadrži više područja koja obuhvaća, a samo neka od njih su: igra, ples, gimnastika, plivanje i druge aktivnosti koje se održavaju u zatvorenim prostorima poput dvorana ili na otvorenom. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je istražiti način izvođenja tjelesnog odgoja u primarnom obrazovanju u Hrvatskoj i drugim europskim zemljama. U ovom radu prezentirani su rezultati empirijskog rada stručne literature i članaka. Neke od korištenih metoda su: metoda istraživanja, metoda kompilacije, metoda deskripcije, komparativna metoda, metoda specijalizacije i generalizacije. Nastojalo se istražiti način provođenja, stručnost izvođenja i ulaganje u razredne nastavnike, kao i šire okružje, nacionalne strategije i okvire te njihov utjecaj na izvođenje nastave tjelesnog odgoja.

Abstract (english)

Physical education belongs to the compulsory subjects of primary education and is part of the national curriculum of many European countries. The main purpose of this subject is to encourage the personal, social and physical development of children while striving for a healthier lifestyle. Nowadays, there is an increase in the percentage of the overweight population, so physical education and any form of physical activity are necessary. The subject itself contains several areas it covers, and some of them are play, dance, gymnastics, swimming, and other activities that take place indoors such as halls or outdoors. The aim of this research was to assess Physical Education in primary education in Croatia and other European countries. It describes existing models as well the national strategies and their influence in enhancing the significance and activities in practise.
