Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je prikazati plivanje kao sport s natjecateljskim karakterom za djecu s
teškoćama u razvoju. U radu će biti prikazani primjeri treninga, rezultata, napretka i
poteškoća dvojice plivača s dijagnozom cerebralne paralize, odnosno tetrapareza te
osteogenesis imperfecta, tj. bolest staklenih kostiju. Najvažnije od svega jest pobuditi svijest da i djeca s teškoćama u razvoju mogu
trenirati i baviti se sportom, i pri tome postizati sjajne rezultate i osvajati medalje. U radu će biti prikazani treninzi na početku sezone, treninzi za rad na kondiciji i
tehnici. Svaki od treninga je isplivan te prilagođen mogućnostima plivača. Sport osim
očuvanja zdravlja, stvaranja radnih sposobnosti ima i društvenu ulogu što može
značajno doprinijeti uspješnoj integraciji djece s teškoćama u razvoju u društvo te
njihovom samopouzdanju, samostalnosti te tjelesnom, emocionalnim i socijalnom
razvoju.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper is to present swimming as a sport with competitive character for
children with disabilities. The paper will show examples of training, results, improvements and difficulties of two of the swimmers with diagnosis of cerebral
palsy, specifically quadriparesis and osteogenesis imperfecta. The most important is to raise awareness that children with disabilities can train and do
sports, achieve great results and win medals. The paper will document trainings from the beginning of the season, fitness trainings
and technique trainings. All the trainings were swam and adapted to the abilities of the
swimmers. Apart from keeping you healthy and developing working skills, sport has a
social role as well. This contributes to successful integration of children with
disabilities into society, helps developing their self-esteem and independance and their
physical, emotional and social development.
