Abstract

Upoznati smo s brojnim istraživanjima koja dokazuju važnost tjelesne aktivnosti za djecu i odrasle, no bezobzira na sva saznanja posljednjih godina tjelesna aktivnost je u značajnom padu. Razvoj zdravog djetinjstva se potiče dovoljnom tjelesnom aktivnošću što ujedno uključuje boravak na otvorenom, ograničavanje sjedilačkog ponašanja i optimalnim vremenom spavanja. Pojava COVID-19 virusa promijenila je svakodnevni život djece i odraslih, te je iznimno važno da roditelj i odgojitelji prate razinu tjelesne aktivnosti kod djece jer je optimalna tjelesna aktivnost povezana s boljom kvalitetom života. Cilj istraživanja je prikupiti podatke o tjelesnoj aktivnosti djece rane i predškolske dobi od pojave COVID-19 pandemije i života s ograničenjima. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 162 roditelja i skrbnika djece u dobi od 1 do 7 godina starosti koja pohađaju dječji vrtić. Iz provedenog istraživanja može se vidjeti kako se roditelji i skrbnici izjašnjavaju da njihova djeca tijekom pandemije provode dovoljno vremena na zraku, da su aktivna, te kako ispitanici čitaju literaturu i uvažavaju savjete kompetentnih stručnjaka. Iako se uglavnom trude sve navedeno provoditi, isto su u većini zabrinuti za tjelesnu aktivnost svoje djece u vrijeme COVID-19 pandemije koja je u svakodnevni život unijela mnoga ograničenja, restrikcije i nove životne situacije.

Abstract (english)

Many studies have shown that physical activities has a great importance for children and adults, however, reagardless of that cognition they are significantly decreasing. Development and growth of a healthy childhood is encouraged by sufficient physical activity that also includes spennding time outdoors, limitation of sedentary behaviour and optimal sleep period. The phenomenom of COVID- 19 virus has changed everyday life of children and adults, therefore is extremely important that parents and preschool teachers follow the level of childrens physical activitys becouse of its importance of better quality of life. The main reason of this study is to collect the dates of physical activities of preschool children since the COVID -19 pandemic and the life with the restriction. The study was conducted on the sample of 162 parents and guardians of children in the age range 1 to 7 that attend kindergarten. The results of this study is that parents and guardians declares that due to COVID- 19 pandemic theirs children spends enough time out at the open, that they are active, and also that the respondents reads suitable literature and appreciate the advices from the experts. Although they are trying to implement all the above stated, also they are mostly worried about childrens physical activity during COVID- 19 pandemic that has brought a lot of limitations, restrictions and new situations in everyday life.
