Abstract

U današnje vrijeme tehnologije i raznovrsnih medija, djeca se sve manje igraju na otvorenom ili jedni s drugima. Kada se uspiju dogovoriti za zajedničku igru, najčešće se odluče za računalne ili mobilne igre, a tek rijetko za one poučne, društvene ili igre na otvorenom.
Ovim istraživanjem željelo se pokazati igraju li se djeca uopće, koliko vremena dnevno provode u igri, koje igre igraju te ovisi li mjesto njihova života o odabiru igara i prostora gdje će se igrati. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 25 učenika i 11 učenica što iznosi ukupno 36 ispitanika (N=36). Među učenicima i učenicama dviju osnovnih škola, od kojih se jedna nalazi u ruralnom području, a druga u urbanom, proveden je anoniman anketni upitnik. Rezultati su pokazali da nema značajne razlike u odabiru igara između učenika i učenica ruralnog i urbanog područja. Naime, učenici većinom biraju računalne igre ako se igraju u kući dok učenice više biraju društvene igre, a što se tiče igre na otvorenom tu nema značajnijih razlika između dječaka i djevojčica; oboje podjednako biraju sport ili grupne igre kao način zabave na otvorenom. Većina učenika i učenica obiju škola smatra kako postoji dovoljan broj igrališta u njihovom mjestu, ali bi željeli da ih bude još s eventualnim preinakama ili drugom namjenom.

Abstract (english)

In today’s era of technology and diverse media, children are playing less and less outdoors or with each other. When they manage to agree on a common game, they usually opt for computer or mobile games, and only rarely for educational, social or outdoor games.
The aim of this research was to show whether children play at all, how much time they spend playing during the day, which games they play and whether their place of life depends on the choice of games and the space where they will play. The study involved 25 male students and 11 female students, which is a total of 36 respondents (N = 36). An anonymous survey questionnaire was conducted among students of two primary schools, one of which is located in a rural area and the other in an urban area. The results has shown that there was no difference in choosing games between rural area students and urban area students. Namely, male students mostly choose computer games when playing indoors, while female students choose board games more, but when playing outside, there are no significant differences between boys and girls; both equally choose sports or group games as a way of outdoor entertainment. Most students of both schools think that there are enough playgrounds in their place, but they would like to have more with possible modifications or other purposes.
