Abstract

U ovom radu sagledane su dvije teme: računska operacija množenja u razrednoj
nastavi matematike te korištenje manipulativnih materijala u razrednoj nastavi
matematike. Posebna se pozornost posvetila njihovom sjedinjavanju, odnosno obradi
i uvježbavanju sadržaja iz množenja prirodnih brojeva uz pomoć manipulativnih
materijala.
Prikazan je uvid u povijest računske operacije množenja, kao i aktualni trendovi
metodičkog pristupa obradi množenja prirodnih brojeva s naglaskom na modele
množenja te I-G-S-Z model.
Analizirani su sadržaji iz množenja u hrvatskim kurikularnim dokumentima
(Nastavnom planu i programu i Nacionalnom okvirnom kurikulumu) kao i dvama
udžbenicima iz matematike za drugi razred osnovne škole.
Istaknuta je važnost manipulativnih materijala u razrednoj nastavi matematike kao i
njihova uloga u nastavi matematike. Prikazan je metodički pristup usvajanja novih
matematičkih sadržaja koristeći manipulativne materijale te su predstavljeni
postojeći manipulativni materijali za množenje.
Za potrebe ovog rada, osmišljen je i izrađen manipulativni materijal za množenje pod
imenom Množilica. Prikazan je način izrade tog materijala te su navedene njegove
karakteristike s naglaskom na prednost spram ostalih manipulativnih materijala za
množenje.
Na kraju su ponuđene priprave za obradu i uvježbavanje matematičkih pojmova
pomoću Množilice u drugom razredu razredne nastave.

Abstract (english)

Two topics are analyzed in this paper: multiplication in the teaching of math in
primary schools and the use of manipulative materials. Special attention is paid to
their incorporation, that is, to the learning and training contents of the multiplication
of natural numbers by using manipulatives.
Furthermore, a review into the history of multiplication is presented, as well as the
current trends in the didactic processing of the multiplication of natural numbers,
focusing on multiplication models and I-G-S-Z model.
Contents of the multiplication in the Croatian curricular documents as well as two
textbooks in mathematics for the second year of primary school are analyzed.
The importance of manipulative materials in mathematics teaching, as well as their
role in the teaching of mathematics, is pointed out. The didactic approach to taking in
new mathematical content using manipulative materials is shown, and existing
manipulative materials for multiplication are presented.
For the purpose of this paper, manipulative material for multiplication called
Množilica is developed. The process of creating the material is presented, and its
main features, highlighting the advantages over other manipulative multiplication
materials, are listed.
At the end of the work sugestions for teaching and learning multiplication in the
second year of primary school by using Množilica are provided.
