Abstract Umjetnost i jezik jedni su od najbitnijih načina osobnog i svjetovnog izražavanja čovjeka – sloboda koju pruža komunikacija likovnim, verbalnim i inim jezičnim načinom, od bitnog je značenja u stvaranju identiteta i življenja. Ovaj rad bavi se tematikom jezika i umjetnosti u početnim fazama strukturiranog učenja, a to je u osnovnoj školi i, određeno u ovom radu, na nastavi likovne kulture. Značaj jezika u likovnosti je slojevit i specifičan jer bez jezika se umjetnost ne može interpretirati, a i sama likovnost ima svoj likovni jezik. Ovaj rad teorijski će obraditi i analizirati vrste pisama, vrste tipografije i njihovu ulogu u nastavi likovne kulture, kako bismo uvidjeli zašto određene metode rada imaju bolji psihološki i odgojno-obrazovni učinak. Slova su učenicima, ali i odraslima, apstraktan pojam, jer ih uče i razumiju kao dio pisma s obzirom na to da ih koriste svakoga dana, no nemaju priliku razmišljati o njima kao o umjetnosti; jasno da skupovi slova koji se nalaze u romanima čine književnu umjetnost, no što je sa samim slovom kao likovnim i kompozicijskim elementom na praznom papiru? Može li slovo biti umjetnost, i, ako može, na koji način i zašto?
Baština i kultura dojmljivo se mogu implementirati u istraživanje i proučavanje slova, pa se stvara multimodalnost i multidisciplinarnost, koja je učenicima nerijetko zanimljivija od samo jedne teme ili samo jednog načina rada. Raznolikost razvija kreativnost i u procesu nastajanja radova dolazi do razumijevanja likovnog jezika, postavljenog zadatka i teme na spontan način. Poanta ovakvog učenja je da učenici usvoje znanje kroz izradu radova i pritom dobiju priliku kreativno se izraziti i poigrati konceptima slova i, u ovom radu konkretno, nauče nešto o baštini.
Nastavnik je dužan pokazati svoju kreativnost u izradi zadataka i implementaciji prigodne metodologije i psihologije, kako bi ova tema bila dobro odrađena, upečatljiva i plodonosna.
Abstract (english) Art and language are one of the most important ways of private and public expression – the freedom provided by communication in an artistic, verbal, or any other linguistic way is one of the most important aspects of identity creation and living. This paper deals with the topic of language and art in the initial stages of structured learning, which is in elementary school, and specifically in Art class in this paper. Language is important because art cannot be interpreted without linguistic effort and knowledge, and art even has its own visual language. This paper will theorise and analyse types of letters, typography, and their role in teaching Art to see why certain methods have a better psychological and educational effect. Letters are an abstract concept; they are taught and understood as part of a language, but there is a lack of opportunity to think of letters themselves as art; it is clear that the meanings letters make in the novels are art, but what about the letter as an artistic and compositional element on blank paper? Could the letter be art, and how?
Because heritage and culture can be impressively implemented in the research and study of letters, multimodality and multidisciplinary approaches are created, which students find more stimulating. Diversity aids creativity, and there is a spontaneous understanding of the visual language, the task set by the teacher, and the topic during the creation of works. Learning by heart and patterned learning are not desirable in this type of teaching. The aim is that students adopt knowledge through the production of artworks and get the opportunity to express themselves creatively, as well as play with the concept of letters.
The teacher is urged to show creativity in task formulation and implementation of appropriate methodology and psychology, for the topic to be well-covered, impactful, and fruitful.
