Abstract

Kroz ovaj rad je opisano kako se može pratiti djetetov razvoj i što sve utječe na održavanje tjelesne težine kod djece. Cilj rada je prikazati što sve odgojitelji i roditelji moraju poduzeti kako bi se promijenio ovaj negativan trend porasta broja pretile djece. Kako bi utvrdili djetetov stupanj uhranjenosti, potrebno je provoditi antropometrijska mjerenja na početku i kraju pedagoške godine. Takav pristup nam omogućuje otkrivanje prekomjerno uhranjene djece, pretile i pothranjene djece kod kojih je potrebno promijeniti životne navike. Tjelesna aktivnost u vrtiću kroz igru i na satovima tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture, te aktivnosti u domu djeteta su ključ borbe protiv pretilosti. Sve je češći prizor djece koja nepomično gledaju u svoje mobitele i tablete umjesto da vrijeme provode igrajući se sa svojim vršnjacima. Tjelesno vježbanje ima mnogobrojne pozitivne učinke na zdravlje djeteta u okviru sprječavanja bolesti, ali doprinosi i socijalizaciji djece te kognitivnom razvoju. Uz sve to djeci je potrebno nuditi raznovrsnu prehranu koja će zadovoljiti sve njihove nutritivne potrebe. Prehrambene navike se stječu od najranije dobi što znači da roditelji moraju paziti što njihova djeca jedu, ali i trebaju biti djeci model tako što će se hraniti zdravo. U Dječjem vrtiću Trnsko je provedeno istraživanje u kojem je sudjelovalo 30 djece, a pomoću indeksa tjelesne mase i percentila je određen stupanj uhranjenosti kod djece. Rezultati su pokazali kako je četvero djece pretilo, te je veći postotak dječaka koji spadaju u tu skupinu. Osim toga utvrđeno je kako većina djece svakodnevno konzumira slatkiše što negativno utječe na njihovu konstituciju tijela.

Abstract (english)

This paper describes how a child's development can be monitored and what all affects the maintenance of body weight in children. The aim of this paper is to show what educators and parents must do to change this negative trend of increasing the number of obese children. In order to determine the child's level of nutrition, it is necessary to conduct anthropometric measurements at the beginning and end of the pedagogical year. Such an approach allows us to detect overfed children, obese and malnourished children who need to change their life habits. Physical activity in kindergarten through play and in physical education and health classes, and activities in the orphanage are the key to the fight against obesity. It is an increasingly common sight for children to stare motionlessly at their cell phones and tablets instead of spending time playing with their peers. Physical exercise has many positive effects on a child's health in the context of disease prevention, but it also contributes to children's socialization and cognitive development. In addition, children need to be offered a varied diet that will meet all their nutritional needs. Eating habits are acquired from an early age, which means that parents must watch what their children eat, but they should also be a model for their children by eating healthily. A study was conducted in the Trnsko Kindergarten in which 30 children participated, and the degree of nutrition in children was determined using the body mass index and the percentile. The results showed that four children were obese, and a higher percentage of boys fell into that group. In addition, it has been found that most children consume sweets on a daily basis which negatively affects their body constitution.
