Abstract

Downov sindrom jedan je od najčešćih genetskih poremećaja, a nastaje zbog pogrešnog prijenosa kromosoma tijekom diobe spolnih stanica. Razlog nastajanja greške još uvijek nije poznat. Tjelesna aktivnost izrazito je bitna za svakog pojedinca, pa tako i
za osobe s Downovim sindromom, a način na koji ih se uključuje u društvo ovisi o zajednici u kojoj odrastaju.
Cilj ovog rada je pronaći način na koji se djeca s Downovim sindromom mogu uključiti na sat Kineziološke kulture i na koji način im se vježbe mogu olakšati kako bi ravnopravno mogli sudjelovati u izvođenju tjelesnih aktivnosti. Kako bi djeca s Downovim sindromom mogla biti aktivni sudionici na satu Kineziološke kulture, odgojitelj treba poznavati djecu, biti upoznat s njihovim antropološkim statusom, znati o njihovim teškoćama, ali treba znati i prilagoditi aktivnosti.

Abstract (english)

The Down’s syndrome is one of the most common genetic disorders that occurs due to incorrect chromosome transfer during germ cell division. The reason for the error is still unknown. Physical activity is extremely important for every individual, people with Down’s syndrome included, whereas the way they are integrated in society depends on the community in which they grow up. The goal of this paper is to find a way for children with Down’s syndrome to be included in the kinesiology classes and to see how exercises can be facilitated so that they can participate equally in performing physical activities. In order for children with Down’s syndrome to be active participants in kinesiology classes, the educator needs to know the children, to be familiar with their anthropological status and their difficulties as well as to know how to adapt the activities.
