Abstract

Pretilost tj. debljina je ozbiljan problem koji povećava rizik od ostalih bolesti. Ljudi zbog ubrzanog načina života imaju sve manje vremena za zdrav način života koji uključuje redovito vježbanje i ispravan način prehrane te kao posljedica toga imamo sve više populacije s prekomjernom težinom. Pretilost je također izražena kod djece te upravo o tom problemu je pisano u ovom diplomskom radu. Rad je pisan u vrijeme pandemije virusa Covid-19 zbog koje su propisane različite mjere izolacije i socijalnog distanciranja. Posljedično, djeca više vremena provode u kućama baveći se sjedilačkim aktivnostima umjesto tjelesnim. To dodatno pridonosi povećanju tjelesne mase.
Istraživanje je provedeno u dječjem vrtiću Popovača na uzorku od 63 djece (34 djevojčice i 29 dječaka) u dobi od 4 do 7 godina za vrijeme pandemije Covid-19. Za procjenu stanja pretilosti izmjereni su dob, visina, tjelesna masa i indeks tjelesne mase. Rezultati mjerenja ovog istraživanja pokazali su da odstupanje od idealnog indeksa tjelesne mase ne ovisi o spolu i dobi djeteta.

Abstract (english)

Obesity is a serious problem that increases the risk of other diseases. Because of the accelerated lifestyle, people have less time for a healthy lifestyle that involves regular exercise and proper diet and as a result, we have a growing population of overweight. Obesity is also expressed in children, and this is precisely the problem in this diplomat's work. The work has been piped at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic which requires various isolation and social distancing measures. As a result, children spend more time in houses practicing sedentary activity rather than physical activity. This adds to the increase in body weigh
The study was carried out in the Popovača kindergarten on a sample of 63 children (34 girls and 29 boys) aged 4 to 7 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Age, height, body weight and body weight index are measured to assess obesity. The results of the measurements of this study have shown that the deviation from the ideal body weight index does not depend on the sex and age of the child.
