Abstract

Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi razinu tjelesne aktivnosti studentica viših godina Učiteljskog
fakulteta. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 96 studentica Učiteljskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u
Zagrebu, u dobi od 22 do 27 godina, koje su u trenutku ispunjavanja online upitnika bile redovno
upisane na 4. ili 5. godinu Učiteljskog fakulteta. Uobičajena tjelesna aktivnost utvrđena je
Baeckeovim upitnikom za ispitivanje razine tjelesne aktivnosti. Interpretacijom rezultata dobiveni
su indeksi koji odgovaraju razini tjelesne aktivnosti studentica tijekom boravka na fakultetu,
tijekom slobodnog vremena te ukupno bavljenje sportom. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata donešen
je zaključak o nedovoljnoj tjelesnoj aktivnosti studentica tijekom boravka na fakultetu i u slobodno
vrijeme. Također je utvrđena niska razina bavljenja sportom općenito. Zaključno, studentice ne
odstupaju značajno od opće populacije u Hrvatskoj te nastavljaju negativan trend nedovoljne
tjelesne aktivnosti. Istraživanje ukazuje na potrebu edukacije studentske populacije i poticanje na
tjelesno vježbanje u svrhu očuvanja tjelesnog zdravlja te prenošenja važnosti tjelesne aktivnosti i
zdravog načina života na djecu.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this research was to determine the level of physical activity of senior students of the
Faculty of Teacher Education. The research was conducted on a sample of 96 female students of
the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb, aged 22 to 27, who at the time of
completing the online questionnaire were regularly enrolled in the 4th or 5th year of the Faculty of
Teacher Education. Normal physical activity was determined by the Baecke Physical Activity
Level Questionnaire. By interpreting the results, indices were obtained that correspond to the level
of physical activity of female students during their stay at the faculty, during their free time and
total sports. Based on the obtained results, a conclusion was made about the insufficient physical
activity of female students during their stay at the faculty and in their free time. A low level of
participation in sports in general was also found. In conclusion, female students do not deviate
significantly from the general population in Croatia and continue the negative trend of insufficient
physical activity. The research points to the need to educate the student population and encourage
physical exercise in order to preserve physical health and pass on the importance of physical
activity and a healthy lifestyle to children.
