| Abstract | Na sjeveroistoku središnje Hrvatske, na termalnim izvorima i uz padine gorskog masiva Papuka nalazi se grad Daruvar s okolnim naseljima: Daruvarski Vinogradi, Doljani, Donji Daruvar, Gornji Daruvar, Lipovac Majur, Ljudevit Selo, Markovac i Vrbovac te općinama Dežanovac, Đulovac, Končanica i Sirač koje čine daruvarski kraj. Grad Daruvar prema zadnjem popisu stanovništva iz 2011. godine ima 11.633 stanovnika, raznolike narodnosne strukture. Daruvarski kraj kao turistička destinacija svoj identitet gradi na koncepciji atrakcija, jer upravo one utječu na turistički razvoj. Atraktivni prirodni čimbenici podrazumijevaju ponajprije vodne tokove Toplice, geotermalne izvore, stupnjeviti reljef koji se veže na šumovite obronke Papuka, biljni i životinjski svijet te klimatska obilježja umjerene klime kontinentalnih značajki. Atraktivni društveni čimbenici obuhvaćaju urbanističku jezgru grada Daruvara, kulturno – povijesne spomenike, sakralne i svjetovne arhitekture i arheološke lokalitete daruvarskog kraja te brojne manifestacije koje odražavaju kulturu života i rada daruvarskog kraja. Iako se Grad Daruvar ne nalazi na magistralnim putovima to ne umanjuje dostupnost područja i dolazak brojnih turista. Nudeći im brojne smještaje u malim obiteljskim hotelima i pansionima, seoskom gospodarstvu ili Daruvarskim toplicama ostvaruje najveći broj dolazaka i noćenja turista u Bjelovarsko – bilogorskoj županiji iz godine u godinu. Unatoč tome, Grad Daruvar planira provesti nekoliko projekata u svrhu razvoja turizama i stvaranja područja atraktivnom turističkom destinacijom. |
| Abstract (english) | In the northeast of central Croatia, on the thermal springs and by the slopes of the mountain mass of Papuk, there is a town called Daruvar with these surrounding settlements: Daruvarski Vinogradi, Doljani, Donji Daruvar, Gornji Daruvar, Lipovac Majur, Ljudevit Selo, Markovac, and Vrbovac. Dežanovac, Đulovac, Končanica, and Sirač make up the Daruvar region. The city of Daruvar according to the last census of 2011 has 11,633 inhabitants, with a variety of national structures. The Daruvar region as a tourist destination builds its identity on the concept of attraction, as it affects tourism development. Attractive natural factors primarily include water streams, geothermal springs, a gradual relief linking the woody Papuk hills, the flora and fauna and climatic features of the continental climate. Attractive social factors of Daruvar include an urbanistic center, cultural and historical monuments, sacral and secular architecture and archaeological sites of the Daruvar region, as well as numerous manifestations that reflect the culture of life and work of the Daruvar region. Although the city of Daruvar is not located on the main roads, it does not diminish the accessibility of the area and the arrival of many tourists. By offering them numerous accommodations in small family hotels and boarding houses, rural economy or Daruvarske Toplice, the largest number of arrivals and overnight stays of tourists in Bjelovarsko - Bilogorska County are realized from year to year. Nevertheless, the City of Daruvar is planning to implement several projects for the purpose of tourism development and the creation of an attractive tourist destination. |
