Abstract

Dječji jezični razvoj moguće je poticati izravnom komunikacijom ali i uz pomoć različitih tekstnih, digitalnih i drugih medija. Na tržištu postoji mnogo tiskanog sadržaja, a odgovornost roditelja i odraslih osobe koje brinu o djeci je odabrati kvalitetne poticaje. Kvalitetna slikovnica je ona koja je u skladu s razvojem, sposobnostima, znanjima, interesima i potrebama upravo djeteta kojemu se daje u ruke ili mu je se čita. Cilj istraživanja u ovom radu bio je ispitati mogućnosti poticanja dječjeg jezičnog razvoja serijom slikovnica Pino. Istraženi su poticaji za razvoj artikulacije, bogaćenja dječjeg rječnika, poticaji za razvoj motorike i govora, poticaji za razvoj dječje vještine pripovijedanja i poticaji za razvoj metajezične svijesti. Istraživanje je pokazalo da je serija slikovnica Pino bogata poticajima iz svih istraženih područja te predstavlja kvalitetan materijal za rad s djecom. Korisno je i dalje istraživati serije slikovnica Pino i pristup autorice kako bi se došlo do novih spoznaja koje bi se mogle primijeniti u radu s djecom ili pripremi kvalitetnih poticaja za jezični razvoj kod djece.

Abstract (english)

Children's language development can be encouraged through direct communication, but also with the help of various text, digital and other media. There is a lot of printed content on the market, and it is the responsibility of parents and adults who care for children to choose quality incentives. A quality picture book is one that is in line with the development, abilities, knowledge, interests and needs of the child to whom it is given or read. The aim of the research in this paper was to examine the possibilities of stimulating children's language development with the Pino picture book series. Incentives for the development of articulation, enrichment of children's vocabulary, incentives for the development of motor skills and speech, incentives for the development of children's storytelling skills and incentives for the development of metalinguistic awareness were investigated. Research has shown that the Pino picture book series is rich in incentives from all researched areas and represents quality material for working with children. It is useful to continue researching the series of Pino picture books and the author's approach in order to gain new insights that could be applied in working with children or preparing quality incentives for language development in children.
