Abstract Ovaj rad detaljno istražuje proces stvaranja kratkog animiranog filma koriste i tehniku stop animacije, temeljen na slikovnici "Četiri godišnja doba" autorice Tamare Vrbanović. Početak rada usmjeren je na važnost i utjecaj novih medija na djecu rane i predškolske dobi, istražuju i kako tehnologija i mediji oblikuju svakodnevni život djeteta. Opisuje se kako djeca koriste moderne uređaje i medije te se isti u pozitivni učinci tih medija na razvoj predškolske djece. Zatim, rad analizira utjecaj slikovnica na razvoj djeteta, posebice njihov jezi ni i umjetnički zna aj u pogledu obrazovanja i kreativnog izraza djeteta. Nakon početnog istraživanja o utjecaju medija na razvoj djece, rad se usmjerava na animirani film, isti u i razliku između pasivnog gledanja filma i aktivnog stvaranja animacije. Temeljeno na istraživanju Palaiologou i Tsampra (2020), ovaj rad bavi se procesom nastanka animiranog filma tehnikom stop animacije te korisnošću takvog stvaralačkog izražavanja na stvaralaštvo djece. Također se raspravlja o važnosti razvoja digitalne pismenosti kod djece rane i predškolske dobi kao na ina za ublažavanje potencijalno negativnih učinaka medija. U poglavlju posvećenom stop animaciji, pruža se sveobuhvatan pregled ove tehnike, uključuju i njezine specifičnosti u odnosu na druge vrste animacije. U radu se ukratko opisuje i sama povijest animacije, od samih početaka upotrebe ove tehnike pa do najvažnijih primjera u današnjoj industriji. Ujedno se opisuju različite vrste stop animacije. Praktični dio rada usredotočuje se na adaptaciju slikovnice "Četiri godišnja doba" u kratki animirani film. Opisuje se proces adaptacije, uključuju i izradu scenarija, dizajn i izradu lutaka (kroz 3D i 2D tehnike) te stvaranje scenskih elemenata. Detaljno se raspravlja o materijalima i tehnikama korištenim u izradi, pripremi prostora za snimanje te opremi koja je korištena. Također se opisuje korištenje same aplikacije u svrhu snimanja animacije, uključuju i njezine mogućnosti i načine snimanja scena. U završnom dijelu opisuje se proces digitalne obrade i montaže, uključuju i korištenje programa za dodavanje digitalnih efekata i glazbe. U zaključku se donosi kratak osvrt na vlastito iskustvo izrade animacije i mogućnosti primjene stečenih znanja u budućem radu.
Abstract (english) This paper explores the process of creating a short animated film using the stop motion animation technique, based on the picture book The Four Seasons (Četiri godišnja doba) by the author Tamara Vrbanovi . The beginning of the paper focuses on the importance and impact of new media on early and preschool children, exploring how technology and media shape children's experience. It describes how children use modern devices and media and highlights the positive effects of these media on the development of preschool children. After that, the paper analyzes the impact of picture books on children's development, emphasizing their linguistic and artistic significance. It looks at the areas of children's development that picture books encourage and their contribution to education and creative expression. In the next part, the paper focuses on the animated film, highlighting the difference between passively watching a film and actively creating an animation. It examines how creating an animated film using the stop motion technique can benefit children, taking into account research carried out in Athens. It also discusses the importance of developing digital literacy in early and preschool children as a way to mitigate the potentially negative effects of the media. In the chapter dedicated to stop animation, a comprehensive overview of this technique is provided, including its specifics in relation to other types of animation. The paper deals with the history of stop animation, from the beginnings of the technique to the most important examples in today's industry, and describes different techniques within stop animation with examples. The practical part of the work focuses on the adaptation of the picture book The Four Seasons (Četiri godišnja doba) into a short animated stop motion film. The adaptation process is described, including the development of scenarios, the design and creation of puppets (through 3D and 2D techniques) and the creation of stage elements. The materials and techniques used in the production, the preparation of the recording space and the equipment used are discussed in detail. The animation capture application is also discussed, including its capabilities and ways to capture scenes. It concludes with a description of the digital processing and editing process, including the use of programs to add digital effects and music. At the end, a brief review of the experience of creating animation and the possibility of applying the acquired knowledge in future work is provided.
